So i had a similar problem, of this show i could only halfway remember but couldn't name or even describe that clearly.
but by following some links posted in this thread i found it!

The show was "Island City" and aparently only had a pilot movie and never any episodes.

    Damn!

Yes, I've been very naughty :P

Well, I just wanted to say thanks to malkvn!

+, Im fairly certain when tv shows reach a certain age, its not illegal to get them in the more fashionable sense that most young people use today!

You're not confusing it with the two American films, "Escape to Witch Mountain" and "Return to Witch Mountain." are you?

I used to watch these as a kid as well...

Lots of good shows, anybody remember Voyagers? (It was about a man named Vinnius Boggs and a kid named Jeffery who travelled through time to set the time line right using a device called an Omni, about the size of a pocket watch.)

Also I remember one about these two kids brother and sister. they had a metal frame shaped like a pyramid that when they sat inside of it, took them back to Ancient Egypt. Cant remember the name of it.

Yes, I watched Voyagers. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083500/

Odd bit of trivia, Jon-Erik Hexum, the star, accidentally shot himself in the head with a prop gun on the set of his next TV series "Cover Up".

I enjoyed Voyagers while it lasted.

    I REMEMBER THAT!

Old guy with girl and boy travelling though time trying to stop a black guy in another time machine and it always ended with him getting his dues.
Then in the final episode it turns out the Old Guy was the evil scientist and the bad guy was going after him.
Oh and the bad guys time machine was more like a robotic suit as opposed to the 'goody' spherical design.
Also I think something happened to the actual good scientist's family or wife when his invention got stolen which is the reason they gave for him being such a baddy when going after the actual bad guy.

It WAS a kids show and didn't last that long but it was a really good one at that!
I tried some time ago myself to look for it on youtube but it looks like it has fallen into obscurity... as opposed to some of the 'awful' tv series over the years lol
    STAR TREK CONTINUES
Episode One - A Single Moment Episode Two - Infancy Episode Three - Unto the Breach
Episode Four - Head Of A Needle Episode Five: The Duality of Men Episode Six - Redemption Earned
Episode Seven - Shattered Universe Episode Eight - The Gepetto Condition Episode Nine - One Room, Two Officers
Episode Ten - Beyond The Farthest Star Episode Eleven - It's OK, It Won't Hurt Episode Twelve - A Protracted Officer
Episode Thirteen - Somewhen Episode Fourteen - The Boy Who Lived Episode Fifthteen - Empathy

    My ****ing God!

That was a WHOLE bounch of candy

You see, there's more tv shows that I watched alot as a kid, that I've forgotten about and only remember perhaps small fragments off..

And I thought, maybe, just maybe, one of the tv shows you listed was the other tv-show Ive been looking for for about 6 years..

    Space Above and Beyond!!!!!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBaQFafK3ZU

I remember the brown haired girl "Kristen Cloke" as you can see from the intro so very well,, its probably 15-16 years since I last saw that series.. but I still remember this one episode that was REALLY horrying.. I still can resite like 80% of the episode :D after 16 years!! imagine that :D

Anyways, havent checked out the other tv shows yet, but I will, and hopefully one of them is the one I remember

I will definetely go hunting for dvd-releases of "SPace Above and Beyond" :D

Been out for many years now- worth the investment as it was one of the best EVER produced. I bet you're thinking of the episode where they have to liberate a mining complex from the AI's, and after kristen Cloke's character plays back a recording from the AI's memory of them executing her parents she goes berzerk and clears the outpost almost singlehandedly.

Chilling and comical at the same time.

BTW- to the OP, it's "Cleopatra 2525" , cheesy but fun Sci-Fi.
