Ghost Mail? Icon won't stop blinking ingame

My mail icon will not stop blinking - or will start blinking again after checking my mail ingame.

I think I may have had some unread mail before the forum changes came into effect, and while I have ZERO MAIL in game right now, perhaps the system is reading from the old forum system?

Just an assumption. Either way, its driving me nuts. If I submit an ingame bug report of this, will it collect any relevant information for the bug hunters?

    Maybe you got a "returned item from the exchange" mail on an other char?

    This happens to me after every patch, and has been ongoing for about 3 months now. after a few days it stops then the next patch comes and its back. So its nothing to do with the forum switch. Ive seen it so much I dont even notice it most of the time, i just ignore it.
