Memory Alpha 'Research & Development' still has a bug
i cant fince the quest and get discard the items.

    I'm having the same issue. I got to the last step but the NPC wont let me finish the mission. I have the necessary completed item.

    Yes, yes and yes. My girlfriend had the same problem.
    T'Pren isn't very communicative, she just comes to her first sentences about memory alpha, but when you hit continue the dialog interrupts.

    And why are those items not discartable?????

    I am having a problem with this one as well. I have the upgraded power cell but T'Pren wont take it, its starting to really bug me. :frown:

    Aye, also stuck with items here: the Power Cell needed to "complete" the mission, and the schematic and samples needed to make it. Apparently "+ T'Pren on Memory Alpha can now remove any excess inventory that a player may have by dropping and re-adding the mission to acquire multiple non-discardable tutorial samples." doesn't work as intended- rather than emptying my inventory of the mission's debris, it let me pick up all the pieces again but didn't take the Power Cell I already had that she wouldn't accept...

    I am also having the same issue. Just put the Upgraded Power Cell in my bank until this issue is fixed.

    same problem here.

    And some good advice: DON'T RESET AND RESTART THE QUEST. YOU WILL HAVE MORE INVENTORY SLOTS FILLED UP WITH QUESTITEMS!


    BUT! Can anyone explain why there has to be a 'profanity filter' in tickets?

    As a non-native english speaker my english may not be perfect, but until yesterday i thought i knew when i used *** words.

    Until Yesterday i had in mind to become a Lifetimeabo-player.

    I'm having the same problem as well. The check mark is above her head, but i can't complete the quest nor give her the item.

    Also the same problem. I tried reporting to the GMs yesterday but no response so far and no staff has responded to this thread either. Are they gonna do something or what? At the very least, they can make those tutorial items deletable.

    same issue. 5 inv slots filled w/this mission's junk now. seems to be a lot of ppl talking in vicinity about this bug also. Lv3 mission w/this bug isn't good as it may be a preview of things to come, even seems like a ploy to force you to buy inv/bank slots to make up for room you lose due to bugs

    Me 3. Kinda annoying. Was really enjoying my first dabble into the game too. Ill spirit on, but wanna see this sorted, or at least an official response from someone. At least acknowledge theres an issue!

    well the quest is still bugged for me can't get my reward i have the upgraded power cell, it just will not let me turn it in. also because i dropped the quest and picked it up again i have all the mats to make another one in my inventory and it will not let me get rid of them.

    Same bug encountered, it's not a massive problem, but I would like to see it get sorted out soon.

    You should be fine with dropping it or not, either way you can continue with the rest of the story.

    As the old game goes, "you're getting warmer."

    I was able to finish the quest with T'Pren taking the crafted power cell.

    Then I was able to talk to her and get her to take the extra crafting materials eating up my inventory space.

    Now if she'd only take the extra training schematic that went along with the extra crafting materials... :P

    Yeah.....

    She STILL isn't taking the power cell, OR letting me ditch the extra items.
