Stop it. Its very annoying.

    Agreed. You may want to search the forums as a couple of workarounds have been created to deal with it.

    Thirded. Seriously, Facebook needs to be buried in the desert next to those old ET cartidges, not in your face and unable to get away from it. Even the 'Buy Zen' banners can be killed with adblocker or scroll away from them.

    Facebook is sadly a very prevasive intrusion into human life

    Frankly anything advertised on facebook I don't buy

    i agree i dont want facebook in my face every where i go. i dont care who liked what or wanna see a picture of them. get face book out of STO.

    I would very muich appreciate it if the hovering facebook-and-other-links would be static. Its not the links that trouble me, but the fact that it moves around on screen. Every time I try to hide it by scrolling, it comes after me distracting me from more interesting parts of the website.

    I just recognized that the stupid wasted space next too the "Edit your Avatar" thingy is ad space.

    Just use Adblock Plus to kill it.. and you can also get rid of that Prefect World emblem at the top of the sight. (At least it's a small improvement. :p )

    why people don't have it install is beyond me as It stops all ads.

    youtube/FB etc etc..

    they don't have the right to invade your computer with blasted adverts... :)

    Those places remain free for you to use because of that ad revenue.

    I completely restyled The site using a Chrome extension.

    There are no ads, no pwe logos and no oversized banners on mine no scrolling pests. The wasted space has been resized and now I can enjoy the content
    Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

    I don't have adblocker, as I can see the "free zen" offers. However, the forums don't have anything Facebook related for me. The main site has a little window to the right, but that's it. What am I missing?

    I don't see it either with FF, unfortunately IE is a dream to adware- takes MANY seconds longer to load this site. You can disable the looping and playback on the page by right-clicking on the ad, but the load times don't improve.

    Of course now instead of Facebook you have Google in your machine. Different flavor of evil.

    And I keep one of my browsers high-security with adblocker and no flash and images turned off, but then the page doesn't load even close to properly. The thread titles get covered in a black box and such. Kinda dammed-if-you-do-don't thing.

    Its high time Facebook started paying its users for membership (its business model makes each user worth CASH to it just by existing)

    I feel a small fee of say $5 a year to each user would be fair

    I'd like to see the social media floating widget gone as well. It is about as useful as an Ogre Slaying Wet Noodle +1...

    That happened to me yesterday, restart your browser, that fixed it for me. no idea what caused it though.

    Would cut down on all of the spam we get from fake accounts over there being used as landing and redirection pages,....

    Try resizing the font. I had to reduce it down a notch and the formatting is clearly screwed up.

    CTRL and your plus and minus keys on your keypad.
