Doomsday Device Mission Not Completeable

I completed the Doomsday Device Mission on Elite at Vice Admiral rank. After finishing it I got no reward and the mission journal said I was just at beginning. So I had to board the Klingon ship again and after advancing to the next part the mission log still was stuck on board the Targ.
Again, I totally finished the mission, blew up the Doomsday Device, and got the mission completed dialog, but after warping out it showed me still at Board the Targ.

    I did a force verify and redid the mission without skipping any cutscenes. Completed fine.

    This will happen if you don't kill the Targ's escort before you board the Targ. Even though it will let you board the Targ without killing the escort, destroying/disabling both ships is the initial objective. If you don't do that the mission is really stuck there although every next step is able to be completed.

    Really sucks when you get to the end only to have to start over due to poor mission design, but after a couple times you learn to kill the escort first.

    You shouldn't have to learn the faults of the design of the mission in order to complete it though.
