So, this is basically a thread for people to post what kinds of item SETS (ex: Aegis, Borg Assimilated, Breen Absolute Zero) they'd like to see.
First off, how about a Reman Prototype Deflector Array and Impulse Engines to go with the Shield Array from the Cloaked Intentions series? Y'know, turn it into a set, maybe for the next FE Rerun Month (if there ever is one). Not sure on the passive ability (suggestions would be nice), but for the active ability maybe some kind of Thalaron thingy that kills crew? I dunno... Still, we already have the VFX of an item set, so why not go all the way, Cryptic?
As for something all-new, I think it'd be kinda cool to see a Pakled "Things To Make Us Go" set. This would need a universal console of some sort to go with the engines, shields and deflectors, just 'cuz.
I'd love to see the abilities. Since the Pakleds steal from other races, the Devs could get creative with just how eclectic they could make them (the abilities).
Oh, and since quite a few people want to see the "Warship Voyager" in some form, how about some sort of set that adds a bunch of "weapons nodules" to the ship in that style?

and 4 - gives you a special attack which works sort of like a plasma flame thrower (short range aoe + burn that borg try to get away from)
(obviously it would need 3 virsions, tac - sci - eng, with differences, think of the one above as tactical)
Anyhow, some set ideas:
Cardassian Fish Juice Set:
Engine: Makes your Engines glow tan or yellow-ish. Random performance boosts.
Shield: Standard shield, but with random boots. Offers same, tan/yellow glowy effect or hue on hull.
Disruptor: Cardasssian Spiral Wave Disruptor: Give this a slightly wider arc or longer range at the expense of damage - or the other way around. Add new effect, as well. Don't make this disruptor green; make it the gold or white-colored beam that they used in DS-9
As for the extra stats from having parts of the collections, I'm open to ideas. Perhaps a buff to crew regen or something else.

--Premise: Romulan, and thus most likely Reman, ships are powered by forced micro quantum singularities.
--Effect: +5 to weapon and engine efficiency
Heavy Disruptor Pulse Turret
--Premise: Seen on the Scimitar in Nemesis the top of the ship mounted a heavy disruptor pulse weapon that decimated the Valdore.
--Effect: Activates "Heavy Disruptor Pulse Turret" - A Disruptor Turret with the power rating of a leveled single disruptor cannon. Is not effected by Cannon: Scatter Volley or Cannon: Rapid Fire. Fires on primary target. -10 Weapon Power when firing other weapons.
Controversial Concepts:
Thalaron Generator: 45 degree firing arc heavy 'radiation' damage to targets within 7km and in the 45 degree arc. -80 Engine power -80 turning power while firing. 3 second charge time before firing.
--Reason for Controversy: Thalaron weapons are illegal, obviously, even the Klingons won't use them.
I would also like the Reman Impulse Manifold to be "Stealthy" IE no Impulse Trails.
The Reman Deflector should add to Stealth abilities like Mask Energy Signature, as well as as Plasma-fire wipes (forget which Boff power that is at the moment).
All together, the set should grant a Stealth and sensor bonus.

there are too many useful devices atm; 2 devidian ones, hypos and the like, tribbles, the frequency remodulaters in S4, cyro granades(the ones that are useful), fire extinguisher, and the 1 year tribble gun.

I would also love to see the stats of current item sets and things with unique graphics (like Reman Shields) given to other types of items, yet have them retain the same bonuses for having X number of the set.
Please let us mix and match, rather than having to pull one set out to place another.
It would also be great for the Captain to get those items for herself, such as in a Kit. Perhaps each of the character's items could be part of a set. That would allow a Armor/Kit/Personal Shield trinity too. Don't know about Weapon 1 or Weapon 2, unless they were mega-useful for all or most FED characters.
Naturally, our KDF sisters should get the same sorts of items, but with a more KDF "feel" to them. The male Klingos should get bubkus, since they are supposed to be in the galley making sammiches for their female captains!

What I've been hoping already existed were two things. These would be Borg set consoles for ships, but my idea was that instead of adding new "set bonuses", they give players alternate setups if they don't have all six. The two I wanted to see added are ones that give the appearance mods from the assimilated carrier from The Cure, and the assimilated scimitar from Khitomer Accord. Those two ships have unique appearance mods that currently can't be gotten on player ships, and I'd LOVE to see them made available in some way.
I'd really appreciate some input on possible stat setups for these two. The one that gives the ring of pods around the saucer would either be a Science sensor module or a Tactical weapons module, and the spiky frame would either be an Engineering armor console or something else if it fits better.
