Team ends up in separate instances of same mission

2 member team, each ended up in their own "instance" of foundry mission--- but the progress of each was linked by the progress of the mission (i.e., chat window "X" wouldn't close for player 1 until player 2 had closed it, etc.)

    Hmm... I thought that they had fixed this.

    Me too... I remember verifying it as fixed, even.


    Can I please get more information on this? Steps you used to reproduce this bug myself?

    Myself and my friend Jakebob were going to team play my "incidental contact" mission...we ended up in what seemed like separate instances, etc.

    Now he had entered the door before me by a couple minutes (I had gotten eaten by a group in sector space on the way to Bomari) ... I think he was just exiting the first room as I was entering - I had gotten the finish dialog box but the room started up for me as if it had not been finished, I thought maybe something had gone buggy and he was ahead in the fight so I went to join, it was a couple moments before I realized he had moved on to the next room.

    He waited at the spawn point in the next room for me to join him, however when I moved on he was not visible. So we agreed to continue in our separate rooms and see if we synced up at the next room by entering it simultaneously -- no joy on that.

    So we just completed it separately all the way, no problems with the mission - but we did notice during that third interior room that certain dialog boxes wouldn't close until both of us had closed it, etc.

    That's about all I can tell you about the incident.

    Do you know if you started out in the same map but got split up upon transfer to the second map?

    I know we started out in the same instance of sector space, but I honestly don't know if we were both on that first map together or not.

    My gut instinct would say not, he had already finished the fight in the first map and was leaving...I did get the pop-up that ends that map when I entered - but the map also restarted for me.
