I'm having an issue of not being able to zoom out or even scroll out enough to visualize an object from ESD to place a map transition. It's fo da shortees!
i've noticed that too. i think its due to the transition to new ESD.
Also i think its the same reason why i can not at the moment transition from sol system to Earth Spacedock (spelt exactly as in foundry as there is 2 maps for ESD) to end my mission by talking to captain ford, just like you can when starting a mission from ESD. Seems daft if you can't end a mission by the same way you could start it i.e. talking to the same NPC etc.
There are/were some map issues with ESD, since ESD is still a work-in-progress.
Yeah i expected it to be because of the changes to ESD.
Any way i found a work around to ending missions at ESD. Simply manually warp out of UGC Map once you have completed all objectives. Then travel via sector space to Sol system and dock, instead warping to a UGC Sol system map from your last UCG map. In UGC story simple enter a talk to box and select the character at ESD that you want the player to go talk to, and when the play talks them and clicks the button after reading the text, hey presto, mission completed. Am happy now

I have published a Foundry Mission (Broken Arrow) and I am testing it on TRIBBLE. When I get to ESD (used as a ground combat zone), no BOffs beam in with the main character.
This makes this mission extremely difficult. It is challenging enough (with no respawning) for a team of three characters playing. The player will need a teammate, or BOffs to complete this map.
Any ideas as to why this is happening ? The Spawn Point is in the middle of a large area and there is plenty of room for a Team Beam-in and while testing it in the Foundry, my BOffs WILL beam in with the main character.

What do you mean you used ESD as a ground combat zone?
Well he'll have a problem then cos ESD is an interior map not a ground map, oh and they used to be two versions of the map, the old ESD and the the new. So which one is he using? As the old one seems to have been removed. Which is a pitty, cos i wanted to use the old map myself, so put it back on foundry cryptic
ESD is one of the available (ground) maps in the Foundry, and can be used as a mission platform.
At least...that's what I assume he meant.
You assumed correctly. I guess I should have been more clear.
I am using the old Earth Space Dock Map as I could not find the new one available in the Foundry when I began building my UGC mission several weeks ago.
The basic premise of my Foundry Mission, "Broken Arrow," is an invasion of Earth Space Dock. This is my FIRST mission, so I am still learning about the Foundry - and its limitations. When I test this mission within the Foundry, BOffs beam in; however, playing on Tribble Shard, they do not beam in. I think the difference may be that it is an Interior Map not a Ground Map like Teasdaleern stated. I bet the DS9 Interior would run the same way.
Because the BOff's do not beam in with the player, this may run like a small STF. It has been played successfully with 3 players with no re-spawns from the beginning to end. Two players would be challenging and would require mastery of the players' skills. Playing it alone would be very, very difficult on the Earth Space Dock part.
I guess I could have beam-in "Redshirts" to help the player fight or it can be just played with multiple players. I have mentioned the "Best with Multiple Players" disclaimer in the description.
I was just wondering if this (BOffs not beaming with the player to the mission map) may be a bug or the way it should be...
As I posted elsewhere, Chiron II only allows one BO to be selected if you use it as the first custom map.
To the OP, if you want a work around, insert a ground objective prior to the one on ESD. Make it, say, Federation Interior 01.
You will be able to set an away team then if it's like the Chiron II bug. You just can't use the bugged maps as your first ground map in a mission. It will work fine if there's a ground map before that.

I shall give that a try - thank you, Leviathan99.
I have some ideas to expand upon the action and the plot.

Leviathan99 - your suggestion worked. BOffs will now beam in with the player into the Earth Space Dock Map for this mission. THANK YOU ! I added a new bit of scope to the action and it is now possible for 1 player to complete this whole mission.
Thanks to everyone else for your help and guidance as well.
