Chain Stories: A Crazy Idea

So, I had this crazy notion. You have authors X,Y,Z..
Author X makes a mission. Then author Y uses something from that mission in his next story. Then author Z uses something from author Y's story in his mission and so on.
It could be something small like a reference or it could be an over all story arch.
Plus, the author's mission would most likely be played by the other authors involved, since they would be curious what the next author used from his story.
I know at some point we are going to be able to import things into our missions. This would make something like my idea a little easier, if say you were using the same location (map).
Just an idea.
