Last night while at a dance club for a party, a couple at our table had glowing blue drinks. I made a joke about Romulan Ale, and became somewhat upset to discover none of the 8 people at the table had any idea what a romulan was let alone romulan ale.

You see, now if you ever see them again, they'll know you're a trekkie.

I just encountered a spider large enough to make me stop and think: Can I take this thing?
He who yells and runs away lives to come back with a large blunt object and squash his prey.

It's 9:20PM, this is your Ten Forward News Update. I'm your anchorman, Matt Dawson.

Newly found archives have been taken for analysis by the Ten Forward Historical Society. Their content is top secret, and only the words "For Eyes Of High Priestess Cappy" were the only detail revealed.

    More on this development tomorrow.

It's 6:10PM, this is your Ten Forward News Update. I'm your anchorman, Matt Dawson.

The newly found archives, yesterday taken for analysis by the Ten Forward Historical Society, have been deduced to have been an elaborate hoax. Their printing and caligraphy is too modern compared to the current time period, and the ink is not of a similar age to that of the parchment.

DNA analysers are currently working on the documents, and it is hoped that identifying markers are soon found.

In other news, Ferengi merchant Luprin was trialed and found guilty of selling counterfeit Entertainment supplies, as well as faulty Phaser compression rifles. He will be held in a secure location for the time being until his internment is decided.

And lastly, the weather forecast. Largely normal with a good smattering of comets, shooting stars and trilithioum-based mereorites across the south eastern sector blocks.

    Good evening and good night.

This concludes our emergency broadcasting test. Had this been a real emergency, you probably would've heard this:

AHH!! HELP US!!! NOO!! GET US OUT OF HERE! HELP ME!! HELP EVERYONE!! AAAAAHHH!!!!!

And now, back to your regularly scheduled program.

(For those of you who don't know, that was from Freakazoid.)
