A related question to solo missions. Although technically, its not really a foundry thing.
How hard is it for a character to solo the various mobs based on class, has anyone tried?
I know that a tact admiral doesnt have much of a problem, because of the escort ability. However, a lower level tact almost cant handle mobs by him/herself. I also havent ever tried soloing mobs with an engineer or sci.
Trying to decide to if i should put a mob in a solo map.
I have tried it in the past - there was a bug with the Mission where Mirror Terrans infitlrate DS9 and I had to fight without my BOs.
Yeah, it's doable (I think I did it with my Science Officer), but it sucks big-time. If you want to force it within the existing Foundry mission, I would suggest only using low level Lt. and Ensign squads, nothing worse. And pray that the enemy hasn't too many healers. A function to mark a mission or map as "solo" with the enemies spawning appropriate for the solo player is clearly preferable.

Thanks. Im just planning to put a note in the mission description. My intention was to just put one ordinary mob so as to have a sort of boss-level encounter.

Other than the "corner hack," no.
