I've been spending quite some time in Asleza recently and have noticed a rather glaring inconsistency.
Most of the missions are based around the cookie cutter aliens, which are usually marked by taunting the respective Captain of the KDF ship and the base Commander informing the Captain that they're being raided and having supplies stolen.
Which is expected when it's a cookie cutter race, but when the random generator selects Federation ships, it's odd to see them doing the same thing.
I've had a Vulcan Captain make a joke about being promoted to waste management duty and Federation ships stealing supplies from a base.
Vulcans in general are not moved to humor and Starfleet Captains are above taunting their enemies.
Also, Federation ships would not be stealing mining resources from KDF bases.
They should take a look at the random mission generator and adjust it so the Starfleet innappropriate dialogue doesn't appear every time they're chosen for the anomaly mission.
I totally was expecting something else with this thread title. Yeah I've noticed a few inconsistencies with NPC Federation "behavior/dialogue", a couple of times I've been tricked though, it was actually Mirror universe NPC's and not Feds - which works.
I find it humorous to find the different cookie-cutter alien species we must face in Azlesa expanse, or in the KDF side in general. I noticed in leveling my 3 toons that Borg supplying weapons to rebel factions can actually be quite funny...by all means, don't bother to fix the problem....All I would like to see is more of the same...
P.S.: This post contains sarcasm....

The one that I can't understand is why the Borg or the Undine (I get the Undine more) are supplying these groups with Klingon weapons. Or why all of these groups have bits of KDF uniforms... maybe the KDF is like the old Soviets, selling AK's and surplus any where they can.

I find it odd, I find lots of Terran Empire ships in addition to the Federation, and I ask, how did they get in this universe, and end up on the border of klingon space raiding out places?
Shouldnt they be off in their own universe, they offer no explanation for this in the missions because they are random and they think its perfectly natural.
Maybe I should play the Fed side through, I went straight to klingon side a few weeks ago when I got the game. Maybe they offer an explanation...

You expected to get story from playing KDF? The Terran Empire presence is explained in the Cardassian front missions.
Back on topic, I agree there should be some sort of faction filter or dialogue filter when selecting which faction ends up being the random antagonist in randomly generated missions.

Must be one of the Enterprise-era douchebag Vulcans :P

Those new Krafting nodes don't build themselves and the EC has to come from somewhere.:p
