In the story board mode in the editor if you have a text box (as though you're editing a dialog) that expands over top of the next item, the mouse will be focused on the next item and not the text box.
Basically I can't select text with my mouse because the mouse thinks the text box doesn't have priority over what's under it.

I just click the top of the text where it's still selectable, and use the arrow keys on the keyboard to navigate through the text box to the bit I want to edit.

As said before... you need to adjust your window size if needed and keep your scrolling and your text boxes from overlapping the other windows... don't wait for a fix... you need to adapt your editing habits to avoid these problems..

My intent wasn't to complain about how I can't do something, my intent was to make a bug known.

I do to but it's still a bug as far as I see.
