Foundry Questions

Hi guys, I just had a few questions regarding the foundry. Some of these might have been covered, if so I am sorry.

1) Will it be possible to add cutscene audio with custom music or will it have preloaded music samples. If there are any at all.

2) Are we going to be able to add like a credit system that shows the creator and stuff to give it more of a realism feel ingame as if we were watching an episode.

3a) Will you have multiple camera selection's and how advance will the camera effects be.

3b) With the actual creation will you just have one mode or will you have a normal and advance selection mode for all the players who wish to maximise the creation tools usability and build something totally unique.

4) Will multiple number of players be able to work on a single project via ingame or out of game filesharing to allow lots of different players to build a (for example) fleet project

5) Will it be possible for players to assign dificulty levels for their episodes or will you guys decide that, I ask this because if these episodes give xp or money wouldnt it be possible to make it so you kill 1 enemy and get enough xp to hit cap

6) did I just ask too many questions ;)

    As far as I've seen, no. The Foundry Roadmap describes the future of the Foundry if it's not there for now the answer would be, no.

    Not as far as I know, again, check the Foundry Roadmap.

    Not as far as I've seen and I doubt this will ever happen for actual gameplay.

    3b) With the actual creation will you just have one mode or will you have a normal and advance selection mode for all the players who wish to maximise the creation tools usability and build something totally unique.

    Everyone will be able to access every tool in the tool-set as far as I know.

    4) Will multiple number of players be able to work on a single project via ingame or out of game filesharing to allow lots of different players to build a (for example) fleet project

    As far as I recall, that is a goal for the development team but probably never through external file-sharing! Check the Foundry Roadmap for further information.

    Cryptic controls the reward system, the player controls the difficulty slider, the author controls enemy selection and placement. In essence, the Foundry is as exploit proof as it can be, for now.

    << WHEN cutscenes are added you will be able to choose music from a standard list provided, the good news is they will also have a library of sound FX that can also be triggered or placed in a spot..no custom music though, ever>>

    <<Rolling credits ? maybe WAY latter they might be added as a function of cutscenes. But you can have credits of a sort already...just stick them in at the beginning or end as a dialog popup>>

    << Camera control will be excellent :D for cutscenes only...later with the ground update they might improve the current camera choices...don't hold your breath>>

    << nope, there will be one mode, however..advanced mission building tools will be added..regularly, they will be in menu tabs so you can bring up the more powerful tool if you want to use it. But this will be a ways down the line, don't expect it too soon>>
