I'm a member of the Foundry fleet. I wish, that the foundry featured a way to collaborate with others on our missions. A kind of check-in / check-out system that would allow us to share our missions with specific people using the Project ID and our friends/fleet lists. We would need to be able to track changes, maybe a summary on the project tab that lists additions, deletions, text changes, ect... while providing a method to undo a specific item. Because, if we can pool our capabilities, I believe we may be able to develo some truely incredible content.

I most definitely agree. Currently, there is a tab called "Importable Objects". I think the easiest way to be able to collaborate, is to give each person that will work on the mission the mission ID #. Then, each authorized member could upload the project, make the needed changes, and make a note in the Private Author Notes on the first page of the project.
This method could be used, until Cryptic adds in a 'share' functionality, that would work as you suggest above.
