Ok so I placed a "talk to contact objective" but its being bypassed.
skipped, not even required to do... any ideas? I'm on ground, and clicking play map, just to play that part of the mission.
I have found that If you put a "Talk to contact" objective before a map transfer- Sometimes the objective skips and I get the transfer map dialog. To get around this, I set up a pop- up dialog with the contact. thats the only solution I can think of so far for you

also is there a way to have a 'conversation' with a contact?
like i walk up to the contact and interact with him he says
"hey welcome to my house"
in the part where continue normally is i make a player response like
"thanks"
then he says
"So how you doing?"
how can I achieve this in one go without having the player have to use the interact button on the contact again?
Just put 'Pop up Dialogs AFTER your 'Talk to Contact' and BEFORE your map tranfer; and your all set - they can have a conversation. The map transfer won't take ehhect until you've clucked through all the pop ups. You want to have the last dialog from the contant in the Map Transfer box as it's the lat dialog the player will see before the transfer.
its after the map transfer. Right after the map transfer to ground.
I placed a reach marker in the 'story', and place marker on the map on top of him and it works....
i wonder if it would be 'ok' if i did the mission from the start in stead of just running the ground part, ill try that and let you know tomorrow.
hate to think you need to place a reach marker like that, but its probably a bug, because i didnt have to place a reach marker for conversations with contacts after that.
