Question, hoping someone out there has an answer to it.
In my mission, the player needs to deploy 5 transport pattern enhancers. Take object A, interact, object B appears. My vision is that I'd locate 4-6 generic objects in the scene.. let's say they're pattern enhancer bases (the object already exists in the library).. then walk up to each, interact, and like "placing the charges" in some of the early Cryptic missions, I'd like the enhancer pole to appear.
A secondary approach might be: approach group of injurred people, get interact button that says "deploy pattern enhancers" and poof all 5-6 poles beam in around them
I'd really REALLY like to avoid beaming out of the map with "deploy pattern enhancers and transport back to ship" typed on a button. I'm hoping for something a BIT more interactive than just a big button that says "ok".
Is this doable in the current version of the foundry?

Not possible yet. No way for objects to appear or disappear unless they are NPC groups.
For things like this, you just have to either drop it from your story or find some creative workaround, e.g. when you beam down, they are already there or you just say that another team beamed down before you and set it up, and stick some NPCs in generic starfleet uniforms around it that seem to be from your ship.

I had a similar dilemma with my mission (Big Bang Attack for those counting)
As others have already said, it's not possible in that way. (yet) The best way is to rewrite your way around it. In my mission, I wanted to pop up some transporter enhancers. But rewrote it so that the transport enhancers are already there, but they had to be activated before they would work. I also threw in something about diverting power to make them work but that's a whole other story.
If you really want to make it so that the enhancers pop up, your only option will be to change maps to an identical map that does have pattern enhancers. But this is way too much work, you'd only be able to activate them in a particular order, and couldn't possibly be worth the effort.
If you want to beam people off the map, why not simply activate the transport enhancers, then wait until all groups' enhancers are activated, and then have them beam somewhere off screen, as the mission ends, possibly at the same time as you?
You could just have a dialog box come up saying something like: "[rank], Destination here, everyone has transported successfully"
