How to make custom buildings?

I was experimenting with the features I will most likely be using when the Foundry finally goes live.

As a test to explore the possibilities, I decided to model buildings.

I'm aware there are preformed buildings, but you can't walk in through the doors and look around, so to speak.

For instance, I'd like to make a medical center with NPCs standing around or a command tower.

I found things like walls and stuff, so making my own buildings should be easy.
Haven't found a roof yet though......

The major problem is I'm looking at everything from a topdown view and can't actually see what I'm building.

Also, they're just round circles on the screen as placeholders, not the actual objects.

Is there a way to display a 3D view so I can actually see the building I'm assembling and to line up the pieces properly?

there's no way currently of editing in 3D mode. This feature has been mentioned a few times by the more specific editors such as yourself.
