Scanning and Mission Debriefing?

I'm close to finishing my fist mission. It's been a blast so far, and has turned out a lot better that I thought it would. I mostly just have a few dialog tweaks to put in, and then it should be ready to publish, but I have a couple of questions that I haven't been able to find the answers to.

For some reason, whenever I have a ship scan on a space map, it has to come to a complete stop before it can successfully scan. If the ship is moving at all the scan will fail. Has anyone else noticed this? Is this just a bug in Foundry, or will it show up in my mission when it's published?

Is there anyway to create a mission debriefing with the contact who gave you the mission after completion? All the Cryptic made missions have that at the end when you report in, but I don't see anyway to do it in Foundry.

Lastly, will there be anyway to port these missions over to the Holodeck shard when Foundry goes live, or are we going to have to rebuild them from scratch?

    first and third questions:

    1. Yes, this has been the case since closed beta. I'm pretty sure that devs are aware of it, if they've played a single ugc mission, lol.

    3. No, missions will not port from Tribble to Holodeck. You can either trash it or rebuild it from scratch.

    1. I had no problems on the first map in my own mission - the ship can move and scan. But the second map of my mission is the Briar Patch - and there they have to stop moving before they scan. I just thought it was due to the same effect on that map that prevents full impulse speed travel. There's one of those fizzy nebula things going on there.

    2. You could fake it by putting in the last objective as a talk to the mission giver and just have them say the debrief. But you wouldn't get any rewards or skill points. They seem to have found a way to give you skill for doing Foundry missions by adding in a Daily from some lady who gives you skill points for doing three UGC missions. So that's what is taking the place of the mission debriefing mechanic I guess.
