On every map I have beamed down to I use my tricorder to find an anomalous reading. I find the first one but after collecting the data my tricorder still registers that node as active making it very difficult to find new readings unless I run far enough away that a new one eventually becomes the closest reading. . I submitted a bug report. Is this bug a known issue?
I am currently Farming the T'ong nebula for low level data samples. I won't even do the ground combat anymore as it makes no sense if your there to just farm data samples. Am I really the only one who is having this problem? I have not found on single map where the data samples where not broken.
Furthermore I almost always get 1 data sample when winning the mini-game. Isn't the point of that to give out more samples if you succeed? Seems like I have better luck not doing it at all. There something very wrong with the anomalous data on Klink side. Not sure if feds are having this problem or not. Can I get a dev reply on this issue. I submitted a few bug reports already.
Almost every time I succeed I only get one sample.
I am still having this issue here are some photos to show what I mean.
This is a Anomalous reading buried slightly. I will register on my tri-corder scanner but I cannot farm it. Sometimes they do not even show up at all as if they are completely buried but they still register on my scanner.
All the other nodes that are collectible still show up on my scanner after I've collected them. This image show my scan just after I collected the data. I still registers as if the node was still there and active.
Can I please get a dev comment on this? I have asked my fleet mates and they don't have the problem either. So it seems rare but it is kinda gamebreaking. Or at least "Groundbreaking" anyway since I no longer want to do ground missions while farming for data which cuts my farming in half.
Those buried ones never even give me anything; fortunately, I have only run into a couple of them. That said, I haven't had the problem you're experiencing with the samples not disappearing after you harvest them, nor has anyone else to whom I've spoken about it. You may want to reinstall your client, or have it do the force-verify on login, to make sure there isn't a local installation issue. Just my $0.02, of course.

The nodes disappear but as far as the scanner is concerned they do not. The scanner still picks up the node even though it is gone.
I'll try the force verify thing. Thats a good idea and reinstall is that doesn't help. thanks.
Edit: Tried the force verify and it did not help. Just logged in and I get the same problem.
Ya me and my friend have also had the same problem in the KDF ground missions (planets only). We seem to be getting between 5 to 6 readings but normally can only find one or two of them. 70% of the time the reading is going right back to the same spot that I picked one of them up from. Also about 50% of the readings are part way or all the way under the ground and you can not get them.
The buried ones aren't unique to the KDF missions. I've seen them often enough on my Fed toons. I essentially just suck it up and move on when I find them like that. As for the scanner issue, I have never had that problem and I can see how it would be frustrating. Sorry, but I'm not sure what other actions you can take that you haven't already. Good luck with it though.
I have had this a lot in the LTG Azleso. Items in ground that cannot be scanned or tricorder still pointing towards spot that has been scanned. Put in tickets...put in tickets...put in tickets...put in tickets...put in tickets...put in tickets...put in tickets...put in tickets...put in tickets...put in tickets...
I noticed the same Issue as well but have noticed it only seems to be on outdoor ground missions, indoor ones seem to be ok but they do usually have less data samples to collect.
maybe it is because the Klingons are using Fed Tricorders and not Klingon ones:D

I am having these same problems I just started playing a Klingnon ans so far 3 out of 3 planet maps has had burried nods and (not or) the scanner showing the ones I already did.
Specifically with:
1. With the buried samples (unable to scan)
2. 5-6 anomalies reported, but only 1-2 able to be scanned
3. Tricorder being uncooperative
4. Only getting a single sample numerous times, even when always winning/completing the mini-game.
So much so, that on those Klingon exploration ground missions... that I just abort after collecting the space data samples from the map.
I'd tolerate the ground combat if I could farm the samples, but since I can't... I just don't have the motivation to beam down to the planet.

If you can't read the map well due to trees and other features you miss out on data samples as tour tricorder is stuck on the last buried one.
Yeah. I have exactly the same issue. I'd like a dev to comment on this. For me it is also every single map I am on.

Oh I do.
HEHE Brilliant.

I surmised that Issue #3 occurs only on Outside Ground Star Cluster maps.
Hopefully we can get some dev attention on these problems. Here's my tickets on these so far:
