Green box of pain

I don't have any idea how your developers were able to place stuff ? :p

When I grab a table and drag it to the play map....I want to see a table in that green box

So I can line it up right without having to guess and make 10 adjustments.

This is a big headache with the foundry. In space it's not that bad, but lining stuff up in the interiors is a nightmare. Just try making someone dance on a table. It's an endless adjustment of the Y coordinates, and it's all guess work. This is why we need more than a top down view of the map.

This was especially problematic with placing certain objects, like the Turbolift, where the first time I placed it I had no idea where the placement or orientation of the lift was.
There was also the extra effort of having to load the map multiple times in order to get the Y axis placement right so it didn't look a little off.
Some sort of quick 3-D run around would be useful in situations like this.
