Well it is almost Monday, all ready it for some of us. So the big questions is: Will Foundry be available on Tribble sometime tomorrow?

(Waits for a Dev to reply)

What does this have to do with The Foudery launch date on tribble.

getting better content wise has nothing to do with dying.

you can have the worlds best MMO , if nobody plays it...its dead

foundry has a chance to bring back many players that left the game early
    more players...healthy game

6 hours from now, or 6 hours Cryptic time?

6 hours Cryptic time is 15.00 hour Dutch time ;)

In that case we need to keep this thread at the top of the page so it is the first thing they see when they log on.

why would you put an open beta on holodeck? I'm pretty sure all beta testing will be kept off of the main server, with the final release of foundry being all that is released to holodeck

One of the first posts in the subsection by one of the devs mentioned that Foundry will always be considered a "beta' since it is a work in progress, even when its on Holodeck, they will be adding more features over time.

hence why this subsection is called "The Foundry Beta For Star Trek Online"

Then why not call it Star Trek Online Beta?

I always thought that forum name would be changed, but I could be wrong

In a sense, it's no different from any MMO. They all have to change and grow, or die.

You do have a bit of a point, I would simply refer to it as The Foundry. Though I can understand why they call it Beta right now, since it is not live and it not the "finished" product.

They called up the airlines so they could launch the open Foundry Beta the moment my airplanes wheels lift off the ground to take me far away from a computer that can play STO. Murphies law in blatant action.

Perhaps you could get a start if you can set up a way to remotely administer your home computer.

Maybe have a look at the tools referenced in this podcst: http://www.jupiterbroadcasting.com/?p=3626

Problem is that, while in the air, DStahl told them to push Foundry onto Tribble. The dev team misheard him and pushed Foundry out the door

If you are in or around South Dakota, look up and try to catch it

Foundry is in closed beta...invite only

    soon....I hope...it goes to tribble....open beta

Later when it goes to holodeck, the developers STILL consider it beta because even though
it is in a functional state...it is not in a completed state. They are holding back on many functions
until they decide that the UGC writers are ready for them and the current abilities are stable.

So they are going to keep it 'beta' so that the players know...they are going to expand it.
