Klingon Sash/Bandolier Colors

I've recently discovered that my Klingon can wear a Sash/Bandolier and I get new ones unlocked as I progress in rank. Near as I can figure these take the place of the "rank pips" the Feds wear.

I find them very cool!

However, would it be possible that we be allowed to change the colors for these? Ideally I'd like to see three colors options for each sash, just like the belts: One for the sash itself, the others for the "flare" attached to it.

Obviously this is a low priority item. But when you next get into tinkering with the KDF costumes, it'd be great if you could add this too.

Thanks!

Edit: It occurs to me that this is often referred to as a Klingon Baldric.

defenetly have to agree with this post and give it my support. More options for us klingons is just a great idea and smart move.

I definitely agree. A reskin on these to allow color changes would be great. Having them as a set color really limits what you can do with them. They just don't look good with some colors.

    Definitely /signed.

Addendum: Adding shades of violet and green to the Klingon color pallet would be nice too. It's canon. Lursa and B'Etor wore these colors.

    Thanks for the support guys!

Some of these Baldrics look very cool, and I'd really like to use them, but the colors make them stand out like sore thumbs on some uniforms. I do have a couple outfits on which they work, but they really limit the colors that can be used in an already limited pallet.

I agree with Blackavaar, the Klingon color wheel should be opened up in general!

I could give a squat less about the sash being different colors. What I want is for them to work with all armour types (well, clothing types), and boydy styles first..The clipping issues are limiting me to what my toons can wear...It is most troublesome. As well, when will we get something for our LTG's to wear? I am sick of wearing the BG sash to signify that I am a LTG....that's just plain insulting.....

Well, uhm, thanks for the "support"! :p

Actually LTR, I agree with you about fixing the clothing/armor clipping. And coming up with an LtG Something. But there are plenty of threads about all that sort of thing.

I'm hoping to plant a seed about this low priority request (colorizing the sashes), so that whenever they do get in under the hood on the Tailor section, they can tune this up too.

I would support this as long as it didn't change the default colors, since they don't seem to be colors available in the ordinary spectrum.

I agree, sashes come in many colors, And the style and color can also represent ones, house, lineage etc.
I'm a member of the fan group KAG short for Klingon Assault Group, And we do conventions etc in costume.
I just finished a sash in black leather. Really they can be almost anything you want. We use this approach,
" if it looks Klingon it can be klingon ". If you would like to see photos. I have them at a site called Klingon Space as do many members there!

That should not be a problem since the commbadges already have a different range of colours compared to the regular uniforms.
So something similar for the sashes would certainly make things interesting.
After looking at the available ones again I must say the ones I'd be interested in wearing because of their shape (simple yet elegant) have an unappealing rather "wooden" colour tone while the ones with an intersting silver-greyish tone look too much like something from the circus.:(

Yeah, I agree with Kasensal that the defaul colors should still be available. Some of them look good. But I want to be able to make black or red ones too.

I also wish, as Blackavaar mentions, that the KDF had violet and green shades in their pallet. I have several outfits that would look great with a green sash.

This is something I have wanted for a long time, so I'm in full support of this!

If I may add....I would love to have an option to put your House badge on there as well.

Yeah. I like what I have, and I'm always for more options, but I don't want what I already have taken away in lieu of something else - again.

I'd like to see these have some color changes especially since we can change some of the colors on the new vet reward shoulders.

Oh? I was wondering about this. I've been too busy to get on Tribble to check out the new changes. It's good to hear this is so.

You have my support as well.

However, i'd like to point out one further change that should take place; The sash goes over the shoulder armor, not under it. You can see for yourself how both Worf & K'Ehleyr wear it here. And an even better view (no overcoat) here.

EDIT: We should also get the fingerless gloves the KDF have used, you can see Worf & K'Ehleyr wearing them in the clip I linked above, and Duras and Gowron both wearing them here.

EDIT 2: Heck, why don't we have the Klingon overcoat we've seen again and again in the series (in both the Worf & K'Ehleyr clip & the Duras & Gowron clip above) and on the various Klingon NPCs we seen on Qo'nos and in Federation PvE.

Oh shoot, that reminds me, I need to check this out on Tribble again, because per the last Release Notes, I think you can edit more of the colors now...

Thanks for the support and ideas! I agree, the placement should be changed, and adding gloves and an overcoat would be great!

P.S. Katic, I love your signature. LOL :D

Yes, you can change the shoulder pad colors a bit more, the "Yellow" can be changed to four different shades of Yellow (Gold). Nice for some variation, but really not all that great (at least give us all the badge colors including the "Silver" (White/Gray) and Brown (Bronze).
