I admit I don't do KvK or FvF at all anymore - when I PvP, I want to experience the struggle between the major factions. It just looks and "feels" so much cooler. :D

I don't tend to like to do FvF or KvK, though it would be nice to once try out KvK just because I've never done it, and I've got multiple generals. Levelling to general isn't hard per se you just have to focus. The issue is, that pvp is so much less efficient than grinding in the expanses and whatnot... and those are painfully slow. The UGC/Foundry will be our salvation I think, and hopefully Episodic content in combination with other things. For instance, I can't wait till they make it so we can stop being sniped by probes and spheres being stuck in those hovering cubes in Kerrat. I'd like to see more war locales like Kerrat some day. Variety being the spice of life and all.

My suggestion is to be patient. I knew pretty early on in this game KDF took back burner to the federation. Its called Star Trek not 'Klingon Battle' for a reason. Nevertheless, as the game develops I'm fairly certain the Klingon side will have a lot more exciting things to do. I know i'm very excited about the Nausicaan Talon ship being available, and the other ships like the Orion cruiser are great.

My only concern is that they need to beef up Federation Cruisers a bit, to offset our advantage with Cloak and Pets. Balance and such though take some time, and players such as ourselves to abuse the numbers in ways the designers never thought of. :) As far as I know, this has gone on for any game.

I rather enjoy leveling up my Klink. I'd much prefer leveling through Arenas than PvE. And let's be brutally honest, STO is so freaking easy to reach VA in. I think my last VA was done in 5 day or even less.

What I dislike most about my Klingon is that I have about 50 million energy credits sitting on my Feds which I can't get to my Klingon alt. I'm scrounging around with about 3k energy credits to my name in standard issue TRIBBLE gear. So I get demolished by twinked out enemies in PvP.

I've literally put things on the exchange for like energy credits hoping to just get *some* money, but they just languish there. :|

P.S. I'm a TRIBBLE. I just mailed myself gear from my Feds to my Klnk. That's one way around it I guess.

That, and players williing to do KvK matches too. Assuming every Klingon player selects three, there are often still enough players for a KvK match if all of them select the same one.

Noob question: Is there a de-facto KvK night? I've only been playing a couple of weeks and have only managed one Space Arena pop in that time (@ Lt. and I got shmucked hard as I had no idea what I was doing), though I managed to see 2 other players briefly during ground resource battles for what that's worth.

I'd love to learn how to pvp before trying FvK (as to not embarass myself) but it's kinda of hard to get any sort of practice in at the moment in the lower tiers. At least that's my experience to date.

... and back to the Kahless expanse I go... :)

Yes, and it's even better to have your fed memory alpha character mail junk to your KDF toon as well to give a better bonus. I also believe that if you have a fed trying to level up and need disruptors and other such equipment, to mail it from KDF side to fed side because you can get components there for a fiar price...
