It's clear they are delayed once again, probably for some federation centric item. The Devs still have not opened any threads on the new ships, carriers, or attempt to have a dialogue on their capabilities.

so that would be Oct. 10th then.
its more of a personal opinion, but it just seems more of a " here is something no matter how true just to shut klinks up "
look at it this way, Klinks have been asking for Moveable wings since Beta, they are just now arriving ( not really as every BOP animation is seriously broke if work at all ), and thats been what 6 months.
and your thinking they are going to spit out entire klink ships in less time then 2 animation pivot points per BoP
Not surprised to be honest, If they were more then pictures then I would of expected some kind of dialogue on them or is that special treatment only reserved for the feds.
That ship specifically looks more like a painting, literally the original resultion has to be massive, I didn't notice anything that was a tale tale sign that it was from in game, the curves and detail on some of those just doesn't match up to in game, and if they are to point where they can fly them around for screenshots, why aren't they on tribble.

We need patience? We got almost NOTHING at season 2 as far as ships go. We got a lionfish that is severly hamstringed. We were told that they would be a couple of weeks after season 2, then when the Excelsior came out, the end of August date was moved again to October 10. Now people say it will be moved yet again...Well, all I can say is that they cannot blame it on CBS...for liscensing..They have the artwork in-game, they only need to say they want to use them for refits. We have heard nothing as far as special powers, console setup, proposed or otherwise...NOTHING has been sent to us. When we ask, we get nothing...and to me that makes me feel like we are being ignored. I purposefully waited creating another KDF until now so that I could level up regularly. It seems to me that by the time I level doing nothing but deferi dailies....then the ships might be ready....
As far as I know season 3 isn't until November at the earliest...but then again, I could be wrong.....
Very good question. Why aren't they on the tribble to get player feed back to fix any discrepancies. I agree with Ankah. If the ships in the screenshots are actually in game playable they should be tested by players to give a player's assessment on the playability. Never the less hopefully the ships will be enough variety to equal the amount of ships the federation have for diversity. As usual its a waiting game. Eventually we will see the truth as we all know the truth will rise and expose itself.
Tribble is the go-between test server. The Dev's have a inhouse test area and then said items/missions/etc is moved to tribble for a more player based testing.
I'm willing to wait, but the longer we wait, the more likely that the new ships are just a pipe-dream. We know next to nothing about them other than what they are supposed to look like and which race they belong to. There is no mention as to what the types are for each, BOff loadout, or even what tier they are going to be. Until we hear more from the devs, we can only speculate.
No doubt there will be some fairy tale blaming CBS for the delay and the feds will complain about us complaining as per usual.
Al is finishing up the KDF ships - and you can already see some of the changes being made on TRIBBLE. I'm really pushing to get the KDF ships in sometime during the Devidian Series, so hopefully you'll have them before too long.
Seems to me that he is saying our new ships wont be here untill end of October or even November now, so yet another delay it seems. First he said end of August, then 10th October and now....well, safe to say i don't believe a word they come out with now, its just excuse after excuse and delay after delay..ive had patience with them but tbh my patience has just about run out.
I'm a saint when it comes to patience. I deserve an accolade for waiting 10 months. Oh wait make that 11 months, or maybe 12.
All I can say is ......WoW..talk about dropping the ball again.
In the general section of the forums. Under all the feds rittled threads still trying to convince me I have no reading comprehension skills and when someones says "I will" its not an assumed promise.
Unless they recently changed tribbal, the only thing on there is carrier changes and wing positions, things we were asking for in beta
Personally I don't see the ships until either beginning of year or right before or after wow cataclysm ( they will do something big for retention )
If Cryptic makes me go back to WoW - they are definitely the worst game developer of all time.
Can't we be somewhat less destructive for a change?
I have repeatedly stated I feel categorically that Cryptic has made a profound change of focus in a direction to our benefit. Is it enough already, no, but they are certainly moving in teh right direction and each new patch seems to be a little something in our direction.
I'll second this sentiment. Let's try to be CONstructive, not DEstructive.
Case in point. They're trying to steer in the right direction. Let's give them the benefit of the doubt for a change.

Yes I agree that the KDF is being treated badly when it comes to content. The Feds keep getting content and the KDF gets the scraps left over.
Something that started to get me worried is in the beginning ... they had the D7/K'Tinga as well as the Vorcha for retrofits in the line up with the other races of the faction.
Then ... Just the Vorcha and those other ships ....
Then .... just the faction ships with ships quietly being lobbed off.
I've been very patient but as nice as those other ships are ... I still want at least a retrofit vorcha.
If they hold to promises and give us what was promised ... I'm happy as a targ with a new bone.
I'm trying my best to be patient but we have be waiting for quite some time now.
Season three is where the patience ... sadly ... disappears.
Of course, nobody denies that - not even the devs.
The game can be better. It will get better. But it already is fun. You all know it. Else you wouldn't still be here. Simple as that.
Complaining just seems to be a very prevalent "fashion" present in all MMOs regardless of franchise, developer or quality. Maybe it's got to do with today's society, I dunno. Just saying that a happier atmosphere would benefit everyone.

Bleeding is good. but I think we have gotten it to the point where DStahl must be telling someone to get on the forums and give some play by plays. Go read up on Gozers postings. Now I don't say they have rectified anything, but I feel like we broke their nose, and they are considering if they should still fight... now we see if they ask us to stop punching (work on and add KDF content) or they start throwing punches again (more delays and re-wordings)
I'm still willing to pay real money to see CapnLogan beat up the Ship team with a Bat'Leth

They should shoot the guy that did the D7/k'tinga models, they are so far off its just not funny.
Not quite right:
It used to be Orion, Gorn, Nausiccan ships+Vor'cha+D7/K't'inga+Raptor+B'rel.
K't'inga and Raptor are AWOL and I hope we'll be getting those too some day.
