We already have one ENT era KDF ship:

Raptor class

However, here is another that I had forgot about until recently:

Bird of Prey

Would it be possible to add this ship as a lower tier KDF ship?

It is on the wishlist I made up...

Some of the art assets were in the customization options (specifically the hull) during beta, I don't remember for what tier though.

    Sure.. In a modernized version..

Seriously, its bad enough having to live with the Somraw (the modernized versions make sense though) and the upcoming (yuck) NX - Not more outdated TRIBBLE please.

The modern version is already in game...its called the Bird of Prey. That said, if this ship is added your free to not use it if you dont want to.

I had always thought the tier 2 BoP was the BoP from ENT

    Not really.
Their similarities are not that great.
However at first sight I thought the Qul'Dun was a stepping stome between the 22nd century BoP and the modern B'Rel.

I would like to see this happen, they could add it as extra customization options to go with the B'rell and other starting BoP class I forget the name of, also note that this old 22nd century BoP doesn't seem to have a class name, unlike the 23rd century BoP D12-class) and the 24th century Bop (B'rell-class).

Interesting note: "The D12-class was retired from service by the 2350s due to faulty plasma coils, which were components of the cloaking systems. (Star Trek Generations".

So unless there is other evidence, you could assume that the B'rel-class came into service after 2350, but you would be wrong.

Take a look at this list of "Klingon Starships" and you'll see that the B'rel-class has been around for a long time, which is confusing.

I would just really love to know, what the difference is between a D12-class and a B'rel-class. do you know?

Perhaps they are the same class of vessel, but that doesn't really make sense because of what I quoted above about the D12-class being retired by the 2350's.

Anyway, does anyone know what class of vessel the 23rd century BoP is?

Oh boy, the BoP has been re-re-re used in so many roels, it's been scaled up and down it's a terrible mess.
Anyway when it first appeared in Star Trek 3 it was called a "Scout class vessel".
Regarding the B'rel class: that's one the nost confusing things about this ship:
They only appeared in TNG "Rascals" and they were actually "big" BoPs (around 400 meters) and were actually reused footage from "Yesterday's Enterprise" where, in that alternate timeline, they were called "K'Vort class battlecruiser".
So the theory at that time was that the B'rel is the same class as the K'vort only in the regular timeline.
Then the Encyclopedia appears and claims: "B'rel=small", "K'vort=big".
And for some reason it stuck and is now part of the STar Trek universe even though it actually contradicts screen evidence.
Now the interesting thing is that in "Rascals" the Ferengi state that the ships they got those outdated and it alsmost sounds like they got the ships from a junkyard or something.

The D-12 designation is unique to Star Trek 7 and never appears again.
Nobody really knows what it means or why the ships were never refitted with a non-defective cloak.
The K'vort class appears again in one episode of DS9 (Penumbra) on a screen so it's not unique to the alternate reality and the DS9 technical manual claims it almost 700 meters long, but the DS9 technical manual slso lists the K't'inga at 350 meters which is total bogus since it's only 228 meters long...

    Like I said it's a confusing mess.
