There is a silver lining....

Okay, to point out the obvious....

If the planned refits and new ships are coming next month, then the silver lining is that all of the alterations and lessons learned from the inclusion of the Federation refits and new ships should be automatically incorporated into the new Klingon refits and ships.

That hopefully means more Lieutenant Commander slots, and due consideration given for "special" abilities.

One can only wait and see.
Though I was unaware of when the new ships were coming. DO you have a link to the post?

The mention of New Klingon ships is in the lastest Engineering Reports.
It discusses many things that are coming soon.
No dates of actual release yet, tho.
So, as always, hurry up and wait...

I won't believe anything the devs say until it is actually in the game! Having a LT Sub & lvl'd 3 VA's on Fed side, I tried the Klingons out & boy did it ever fall short! Now I have stopped playing except for the new episodes on Saturdays. I grew up on Star Trek & the game does have some good points, all on the Fed side. But the devs can never get their stories straight, one says the Klingon player base is to small to even bother with making new content, another says that we are just ungrateful, another swears Klingon content in coming but nothing Klingon has shown up in Tribble at all. I am now down to about 1% faith the Klingon side will become equal in all areas to the Fed side. For a supposedly two faction game, Cryptic has failed miserably! Now with NWN, people from here are going to work on that, which is bad for us! Maybe the Klingon Empire will survive, here is to hoping so! Qapla'

Agreed. I don't know why we are being called ungrateful. Klingon players want more content so do the Feds, but the Feds already have enough and they still keep making more for them its their fault that Klingons don't have enough players playing on that side to make it worthy of extra content. (more like half the damn thing is missing if you ask me) They should make a Klingon tutorial and allow players to join without having a Fed character to be a certain level.(I think that is what killed the Klingons from the vary beginning.) I like both sides they just need to stop spoiling one child and give the other some love.

This is Cryptic we're talking about, I bet the ship guys were told about the BOFF pass that all the T5 Federation Ships are going to get looked at, and forgot to mention to do the same now with the new klingon ships.
