@ the gates of gre'thor, the final conrontation i am supposed to explore my surroundings..hmmm
ok i did..
explored the whole area..no flashing highlights etc
.just a mute Kahless and a shine with nothing else to do?
what am i missing here?

    Have you meditated at the Shrine?

    I remember when I did it, I had to restart the mission because I clicked the wrong BO dialog after meditating at the shrine.

    Go to the altar and it will have your character sit down and meditate. If you have multiple quests open in your log, they might be conflicting with this quest. It is something that I addressed during tribble phase, it's good to see they haven't fixed it...if the problem is that.... I just did this quest with a fleet mate and found that by dropping the quests other than this and going back from sector space to do the quest fixed it....

    The altar flashes as an interactive object, so go near it and hit 'F'.

    This whole mission is gorgeous. :)
    I had the same problem though as I did not read the dialouge box closely enough.

    If you crash or suffer some other difficulty, you can no longer transfer into the proper area on the planet. You have to restart the Gates of Grethor mission.

    The OP is _PAST_ the part with the flashing altar. "Explore Your Surroundings" occurs when you beam into the tunnel leading to the final cave with Feklhr.
