It seems the Dev's don't have the time to come to these forums and feel there are too many forums splitting up feedback that should be filtered by type of topic. All future posts should be directed to Star Trek Online Discussion .

    I doubt that they want to get rid of the klingon forum,but we will see(I remember reading something about this but I dont remember that Stormshade mentioned the klingon forum specifically).

    -Imo they should merge Federation News Network,Dev Tacker and Engineering Reports.
    -Escorts,BoPs and Raptors should go into 1 forum and 1 will be enough for klingon and fed cruisers.
    -General Community Feedback is basically general discussion 2(and not needed).
    -Combat and Missions and Episodes should go into a PvE forum,the UI forum is not necessary(as long as addons are not allowed).
    -1 is enough for support and tribble

    The rest is ok as it is imo.

    That can't be right. They purposely created the C-Store Forum. And actively police and moderate all of the forums by moving threads and defusing discussions.

    Stormshade's posted that it's easier for them to collect feedback by having it in the right forum.

    So that post goes counter to their entire moderation history and their moderation philosophy.

    I mean big picture moderation. Not the small stuff. They made all of these sub forums. And explain their usage. And move things around. And explain why they move things around.

    If they're now doing a complete 180 on that?

    I don't buy it.

    me neither...if they have limited time and want(edit) feedback on Carriers, Klingon episodes or what have you, why not go to the forum that handles that specifically? Its already pre-condensed. Anyone who has a voice on those subjects will post there. Anyone with interests on the subject will go there....so why put everything into a few melting pot so it can get easily lost? That wont make dev feedbacl collection easier.

    whats the point of putting more in one place, its not like they are hearding cats or trying speak loud enough for everyone to hear...the forums are a database of information, not an assembly hall.

    reducing its orginization wont foster greater participation, only more anonymity

    I find it interesting that he believes that to be true but then again, it's not like he Devs come in here much or let alone discuss the issues plaguing the Klingon faction and there is the constant Dev posts when it comes to discussing Federation Gameplay, Ships, and so on.

    Stormshade said awhile back that he would be reviewing the forum structure at some point, feeling some of the headings were redundant. He certainly at no point said that klingon board would be eliminated, he gave no indication which ones would be in fact, nor did he say to shunt posts from any one board to any other.

    That hasn't happened yet. Posting off-topic, as the boards stand now, is likely just going to get topics moved/deleted and possibly infractions issued.

    Until the forums themselves are changed, posting habits should not.
