When are we going to see or hear about the Klingons of the TOS series. They were some of the most famous klingon warriors of their time

For example Kang,Koloth,Kor.

Though they changed their appearence to what we now know in DS9's Blood Oath.

I still think they could be brought in as a kind of sub-class/outcase.

Where a klingon who was born like this. Has to doubly prove themselves to those around them.

They are KLINGON WARRIORS.

One of the funniest quotes I remembered from the old SFC days was an opposing fleet member saying "I am a TOS klink!"

I think players who play as Klingons (and Borg Liberated Klingons) should be able to look like a TOS Klingon (with a few customization options of course, hairstyles, facial hair, the "works" ) if they want. This is Star Trek and those TOS Klingons were in Star Trek a lot, so it makes sense to add the options for them. The clothing is already in the game so why not?

Well, you can change the cranial ridges, and the sharpness of the aforementioned ridges. I have not tried to see if it will give you a flat forehead, but it certinly will be close...

I made an alien as a TOS Klingon. It worked visually. I totally dug it. I'd love to be able to make one as a Klingon though.

I support TOS Klingons also, please let us be them as Klingons, not just as Alien, Cryptic.

If I remember right. Some of us payed for a Federation Klingon character creator add-on. Whyn't include the TOS Klingon type in as well. and make it free for those who payed for the Federation Klingon character creator add-on.

A Klingon is a Klingon is it not.

This is a nice idea letting us look like TOS Klingons in the character creator if we want. It doesn't require a new species, just add it on as additional options to the existing Klingon species in the game.

Throw in the female klingon TOS uniforms along with the option of TOS style heads and you could make a Klingon Original Series costume pack for the C-Store out of it.

Sadly, I bet it would sell. I know I'd like to have it.

And on that same line whenever they finally include the Romulan faction they should be sure to include TOS Romulan uniforms and ships as well.

I agree, it just needs to be added as an avatar option for the Klingon race, not a completely new race.

I think the Klingon race in game needs alot more customibility, non dreadlock haircuts...less pronounced ridge options...more flat ridge options that done have that spine/hump in the middle. And more uniform customibility. Currently the females have better options. Note only the females can use the round shoulderpad option, while the males cant....and thats the best looking of all the shoulderpads...

when i saw the thread title i was worried that this was gonna be some thread demanding smooth heads. u aint klingon without the ridges son, no smooth heads allowed! but i can get behind having the famous nemesis of kirk around, they werent smooth heads ya know, just them poor *******s that got the human gene super human treatment lost their ridges, although dr phlox did offer to restore them via cosmetic surgery most wore their smooth heads in shame for the dishonorable act of trying to artificially augment themselves once they were shown reason about the matter. anywho, as long as no one goes around thinking there should be smooth heads in sto im ok with tos era klingons in game.

smooth heads arent klingons, theyre genetically augmented with human dna from khan, not klingon at all.

You sound like a broken record.:p

Besides General K'Vagh believed his soldiers were still Klingons in their hearts.
That is enough for me and it should be enough for you.
If it's not, I cannot even feel sorry for you.;)
If they were not Klingon, do you believe the KDF would have let them command their ships, their troops, would have given them weapons, uniforms, rank and title?
So you must be a changeling agent trying to undermine the unity and strength of the Klingon people with his hateful propaganda!
    HAH! GOTCHA! HAH!:D

Not quite, I have a liberated Borg Klingon engineer at commander level and even with ridges set to minimum while the forehead is fairly smooth (not entirely) he's still got a pointy head, and you can't change that hooked beak nose.

I had set his backstory up as descendant of a deep cover augment spy unaware of his heritage as a cadet in Starfleet who's ridges started re-appearing, Fed's imprisoned him and prison ship was assimilated.

Not smooth heads, compare the Klingons from ST: The Undiscovered Country like Gorkon and Chang to the ones in TNG like Gowron and Worf. They have ridges, but they are less pronounced. The round shoulder options are the shoulders seen in all of TNG and DS9...but they arent useable by males. It has nothing to do with metrosexual. Remember how type 3 gauntlets used to only be useable by females? They simply have more shoulder options than males do.

Ok.....maybe a bit more involved in the character's background than me....perhaps a letter to the developer from someone who can bribe them might help matters.....

I tweaked around the face customiser and no, it's really hard to make smooth-head. The new Kahless Ridges seem to be best for this when pulling the slider all the way to left. Females have it better with the Tiny Ridges option...

Yes this is Star Trek, and the show changed the Klingon design to what's in the game for four out of five series and invented an explaination to explain the falseness of the original design.

It wouldn't make sense to have the original design in-game, but I guess that's not stopped this kind of thing in the past. :(

Oh, someone asked for Kang, Kor and Koloth in the game. They're all shown as dead; two on-screen in DS9, one off-screen in DS9.

The Klingons are experimenting with augmentation again so I don't see why that couldn't result in new TOS style Klingons as a separate species with heightened strength and aggression in place of honor.

    Hi Guys & Gals:

I was using Kor and the others as an example of TOS Klingons of the past. You could still have throughbacks.

which are a rare genetic problem and possiblily untreatable at this time.

    Take this as an example.

What kind of klingon would it take to reach this position of minor power of starship commander. Who has this genetic problem.

It could be part of a very powerful klingon or Human/Klingon hybrid. Bios/ Background story.

First of all the Feds have TOS uniforms as well as TOS mirror uniforms, so allowing for TOS style Klingons is just as out of place as that, and you'll never see them take the TOS stuff away from the Feds.

There shouldn't be a bunch of liberated borg, or photonic BO's or the planned Android and Phontonic Captains, but there are. Cryptic is about customization (at least if you're a Fed), so why shouldn't we get in on the action too?
