Klingon War Zones? Seriously?

Seriously, who's bright idea was it to clone the Ker'rat war zone and the ground war zone into Klingon Space?
It makes zero sense since they are supposed to be PvP war zones.

Please remove them from klingon space Cryptic, it serves no other purpose then to spread the Klingon players thinner.

Are you talking about the KvK resource war zones in Klingon-only space? I think they're just there to give us another KvK oppurtunity, although without some kind of house membership choice, or some reason to fight amongst ourselves, I find any type of KvK... distasteful. I just don't do it.

If we're going to have any KvK areas, then give us some purpose for in-faction combat, otherwise, I agree with Alex, just get rid of them, convert them to mission-systems, or introduce some other kind of match-style.

As long as we're on PvP, here's an idea: I'd like to see a Borg Assimilation style match, based on the Zombie Apocalypse game-type from Champions. Replacing the KvK resource war zones with this type of match could be fun.

A few details: (I've mentioned it before, and although I'd prefer an open PvP sector with real ingame geopolitical consequences, this might be a fun diversion.)

The match starts with 1-20 Klingon (or Starfleet, works for both) players. (Maybe both, could be a co-op mission style). One player starts as a Borg Queen (King?), with dozens of various NPC drones under his control. As they "kill" a Fed/Klink player, that player is "assimilated". (He respawns as a Borg-ified copy of his character.) The round ends when all of the non-borg players are assimilated.

Scoring could be based on the length of time you spend unassimilated for the non-Borg side, and for the Borg side, how many players you assimilate, or how much damage you do, whatever.
