Klingon Fleet Actions - you got to be kidding?

I just got a taste of the Klingon Dailies and let me just say this, Cryptic I think you need to tweek them.

Ice Mine:

1) Serious Server Lag in these Instances

2) The Water Pump's location is troublesome and it takes a long time for them to recharage, making it difficult for multiple players.

3) Insanely fast respawn times. (You barely move before they respawn).

4) Low Klingon Populations can make these dailies be more challenging than they should be.

5) Too long investment times (I.E. needs these Dailies shortened to managable times).

Federation Minefield:

1) The number of mobs is just crazy for BoPs and Raptors.

2) "Battleships" end up being mixed in the Cruisers, while the Jupiters guarding the minefield is as powerful as the final boss.

3) The Mines chase cloaked ships from 10km out. So even if you steer clear, you still likely to get one up the tailpipe out of the blue.

Cryptic, please review these Dailies (not just Klingon but Federation as well) and make them more fun than just a weight-heavy grind.

After what I experienced today, I'm going to avoid the Fleet Action Dailies on my Klingon.

Besides the Mk 11 Weapons aren't worth it and the Mk11 Consoles are available off the exchange. So the only thing that's worth getting is that 35% Shield Console.

I've never enjoyed the fleet actions on either side of the coin, but the only one I tried on a Klink was even worse than the Fed versions... no surprises.

The Klingon fleet actions are a joke.

I never found anybody playing in them. They are totally deserted

Yeah, if you think about it, Cryptic is probably gnashing their teeth at Klingon players. Because they wanted more PvE and got the Fleet Actions (Big Dig, Minefield, CE) and got them. But due to the low population, nobody really bothered.

Now that we got the dailies as a way to play them, without people playing it for months we are now running into these annoying problems.

Then there is the Mk 11 gear that apparently subpar to the Mark of Exploration / Honor MK X gear. (Except the consoles, which pretty much are found on the exchange cheap now). So it's kind of a mute point.

Since launch Klingons shy'd away from PvE. Most Klingons signed up for the PvP (unfortunately PvP is borring and repetitive). When infected came out you would see angry posts and shouts that they couldnt find enough Klingons wanting to run them. Low population might be a reason now but that close to launch the Klingon population was alive and well it was just PvP centered. Now its probably mixed because most of the PvP klingons left.

I really think Cryptic should try to get some Feds to roll Klingon alts. Maybe XP bonuses or something? Anything to start filling out the Klingon side so that you CAN play a Klingon.

    er what?
At launch pve content for the KDF was little to non existant. Kilngons did not shy away from what they did not have.

They had Infected missions and their was little to no interest from the Klingon side. Klingons were to busy PvPing. You are correct we didnt have much but what little we had wasnt being used or used by a relative few. They created the Klingons with little to no PvE so the Klingons at launch were PvP orriented.

Infected was not in at launch, it was about a month after. Most of the old timer Klingons I remember left shortly after launch because most of them were in the beta and knew that we were neither going to get PvE or worthwhile PvP. In fact, in the time since launch all they've given us worth playing has been the PvE missions. This should come as no shock since Cryptic is notorious for making PvP a quarantined part of the game play. It is delusional to think that we should look for PvP as the future of this faction.

    Azurian,

We've been complaining about this forever. No fixes, not even an acknowledgment that it's a problem. Now that there's dailies, it's an even worse issue by many magnitudes.

Cryptic doesn't care. They had a chance to fix this when they added the dailies. Nope, no suck luck.

I don't think when they added the FA Dailies, they just copied it over from the Federation side and didn't really give it any thought. That's until now. Because I have learned is that Cryptic responds more to "kicking and screaming" than the "can we please fix this" feedback.

With Big Dig, its a problem on both sides.

Wtih Ice Mine its pretty much just a Klingon Problem, if the Federation players got that as a daily, then things would be much vocal. So hopefully they are rushing to implement changes than have this drag on for another month or so.

Well now that people are finally playing the KDF fleet actions, hopefully they will fix the silly things.

Ice mining is especially bad because we are forced to fight Federation enemies, and with the all the cross healing these guys do, it makes it far far more difficult and time consuming than the Fed version of this fleet action. That is why you run into respawn issues, especially with the low KDF population.

Fully agree here. Cryptic does not care about fixing Klingons.

And fewer yet who even do the Fleet Actions. Yesterday, Ice Mine was empty and today 1 person was in it. By the time we were done, there were 5 people total.

    BTW, the Trophy, pretty lame.

Thats typical for the Klingons. Most wanted to be the PvP centered faction. Their has only been passing interest by a few players.

They totally did just copy and paste the fleet actions, breaking the planet flashes up on screen on the final defend the rally point to stop the klingons when it should say stop the federation.

Also a killer in The Big Dig. About 8 of us got only partway through before most of us gave up.

Truly, Fleet Actions need serious review. They could be incredibly fun, but instead they are basically avoided because they have so many issues. Would it be so terrible to have NO respawns until the mission resets?

Yeah the resoawns in the big dig are horrid.

Ice mining is nuts too, but at least parts of it can be actually soloed. You just need a bigger crew for the part with the artillery spotters, since they are hidding behind hordes of fast respawning mobs. Need at least 2 people for that to have a reasonable success rate.
And the key is to keep moving as fast as possible to not get hit in the back by the new spawns.

Very hard to do that with pugs...
    Fleet groups are almost non-existant....

That's the thing, NOBODY is doing the Fleet Actions except a couple of people!

Cryptic needs to get rid of the Fleet Action Dailies for Klingons, because one or two people isn't going to cut it! And frankly, it's ****ing me off the more I have to waste 4 hours to do one of these miserable Ground Fleet Actions which nobody wants to do!

Especially with those TRIBBLE Extra Scanning jobs, which there is no way a solo person can do!
