Post your random Klingon grunts of disapproval

Yes, I must admit...the Klingon condition within STO has improved. But for a die-hard Klingon, one who looks forward to experiencing in-depth and immersivly in their lore, I find that there is still much lacking. This lack is in both faction content and has meaningful interactions with other factions, especially with the Fed faction and its player population.

So, as log into the website or into the forum, the predominant reaction is one of disappointment...so, I figured each time i log in annd fill that way about Klingon content, I'd express that feeling in a random klingon inspired grunt, moan or other show of disapproval, disappointment or displeasure. That being said, it would only be fair to also express the contrary when it presents its self.

Any other Klingon player/community contributor is welcome to post their grunts...or other mono-syllablic utterings of approval.

So let me start it off...

Nothings changed other then they've nerfed klingon PvP abilities and the quality of Klingon PvP'ers has dropped significantly. :(

Well, I do not think I can express myself in one syllable so, one phrase ought to do it. All I can think since this makes me sick is to say....

    Bah!

The Ask Cryptic was actually half way descent. There was actual info and actual plans/desires laid out. Still, nothing I find terribly important for Klingon game play.

Its still vanilla stuff...typical MMO stuff, nothing innovative, nothing immersive for a Klingon experience, no word on the PvP territory war, no word on a PvP territory for various NPC House conflicts. No info on a real Carrier model(not this battleship with 'skeeters buzzing about it).

I like the idea of Sector Space revamp...but I'd like to see how it can be utilized for part pf a PvP conflict from a strategic aspect. I want see about MES being used for decreasing detection ranges against hostile sin Sector Space...this mean changing MES's use in the current maps to only being a long range detection counter only(25km or farther). Increasing detection ranges and the playable areas of maps.

i want to see how NPCs in sector space can be used as moving logistic/interdiction instances for the Fed/KDF conflict, where KDF are raiding and Feds are escorting/protecting their assets in travel. These could provide individual and faction perks...while also contributing toward victory conditions for either side.

seriously though, while there have been some updates to the Klingons I was expecting a bigger update when July rolled around, since thats what they had promised it. i was rather unimpressed with the half hour of content that was added, what was it 6 missions? My new klingon spends 10% of his time in these new missions and like 90% in explore. Would pvp but after the exp nerf to it and broken Q's Its not worth the time.

Fully agree with you. I expeted more from Season 2. Some of the missions are quite nice, but many are very bugged. I still play more Exploration or Star Clusters at all. I'm disappointed with Cryptic.

my fleet gets a vote on new content and such for klingons, but man mine is the only fleet in the kdf aliance asking for non pvp related content,in fact the other fleets tell me asking for content or no new people will play a klingon is "unconstructive",im asking all people who want more klingon content to make a klingon fleet, get your fed fleets to join, get 100 members, demand to join the kdf aliance, and every monday at 7 pm mountain time bring 10 members and all vote fore more content, dont let a few from beta with 200 inactive dead account members controll the future of klingon content.

4 'Approach Planet' without being able to beam down missions ina row, 2 'Defend Yourself' Space missions with no enemies ina row, 1 'Beam Down and Repel Invaders' with one mob inside a building I couldn't enter...FIX KLINGON PLAY please? It's getting beyond a joke...apart from that a fleet team that could never enter the same mission/satr cluster yesterday...looks like I'm limited to playing Fed until Romulans become a faction...but if you treat them the way that Klingons have been treated I doubt I'll be taking upa lifetime sub when my 1st year has run out.

Finally got my Klingon to LG and doing these dailies and these Klingon Fleet actions totally suck!

    Ice Mine:

    Extremely terrible lag.
    Incredibly fast respawn times
Water Pumps were not only inaccessible, the respawn time on those consoles was like 20 minutes long.

    Fed Minefield:

Too many mobs, very difficult for BoPs and Raptors to fight in.
And Stupid the "Battleships" were Typhoons mixed in the Capital Ships, and having the Final Boss being a Jupiter which is are the same ships guarding the Minefield, so you basically have multiple bosses.

And then the mines chasing cloaked ships from 10 km out.

I'm very disappointed in Cryptic, their idea of "fun" always ends up with Zerging of somekind with multiple deaths.

Then there is Exploration with the overcrowded Azlesa with the points constantly camped so you're either quick on the draw and snatch it from another player or wait a very long time.

I don't understand why they think this is "fun" either. It's stupid and it causes unnessesary contention.

One of my really big pet peeves is the Tribbles. Eveyone except True Klingons get the benefits of a tribble, even the Borg Klingon toon can use a tribble. The best tribbles give a 2% dam buff or rssiatnce buff or both. In some combat situtations this can mean life or death and they get this benefit in space as well as on the gorund for 1 hour.
So why not do the same thing with the Targ. Breed Targs yet ONLY true Klingons get the benefit. A side mini-game of sorts, simular to tribble breeding where everyone can do it. The Targs get bigger at each tier or add more horns, etc.
Somethign for true Klingons. No aliens, not half breeds, since they all get the benifit of the tribbles.

Ok so Cryptic says they gave all those new ships to the Feddies because they are cannon. The USS Defiant was the ONLY ship with a cloak and it was on loan form the Romulans ( i knwo the Promethus had a cloak 0 illegal and fobidden). Cloaking technology was forbidden by treaty with the Romualns. The Dreadnaugt was in only 1 episode and it was from an alternate future.
So if they get them then why not Chang's BoP that can fire while cloaked? It was in a movie and what is more cnanon than that.
I was really upset when they gave the feddies a cloaked ship. That was the Klingons only true advamtage in the game that had no equivilant on the feddie side.
Most of the feddie ships get specia abailites, Klingon ships don't except for the use of cannosn and Cloaks. But now the feddies have cloaked ships.

Beware of what the Nebula and Exelsior might get as special abilities.
Somewhere somebody asked for a cloak detection grid on the Nebula.

They have to do something about our current Targ pet, that sumb!tch looks like a Carebear Cousin. No self-respecting Klingon would let that frickin targlet out of the house until it could at least break the skin on a Fed's a$$. They might as well have put a pink bow on it and called it Penny!

But yes, Targ breeding would be nice. Im not so sure it has to give buffs like the tribbles. Its a Klingon pet...it should attack and defend us. In the end, they might provide similar benefits as the tribbles, but make them Klingon in implementation. I'd rather my Targ auto-aggro whomever Im attacking and/or absorb shots on occasion(I'd love to see my Targ dive out to take a hit for me, "You did good pig", I'd whisper everytime he took one for me). The attacks dont have to do much, even a few hit points would do. When efening, they could be incapacitated once their small amount of HP is depleted, requiring you wait for a cool-down to re-spawn it out of combat.

The breeding could allow us to breed just attackers or just defenders. Eventually we'd be able to breed Targs with both skills. But they'd always be minor contributers.

    EDIT
I also want a Targ breed that sniffs out non-Klingons and dispatches them in their sleep. I refuse to have those funny looking infestations on my ship. The only alien that should be on my ship are the ones being interrogated for the Defense codes just prior to their occupation.

As far as the exploration goes, yes...it is overcrowded...oh, yes...only one instance of Azlesa Expanse...what???do they really think that only a handful of Klingons are able to level, or can level doing those? BAH!!!

As for the new c-store ships.....we don't know their frakkin armorment is going to be...what consoles and such...so how can we plan for the new c-store refits????? Klingons like to plot and plan....

As for the Klingon cursing....I have another...it takes only 1 syllable...but let me lay the story...

Whilst visiting the Enterprise on a diplomatic mission, my Klingon purposefully drank Klingon prune juice and ate a targ sandwich on multi-grain bread. As a result, the scheming Klingon had only one thing in mind.... to foul up the only working bathroom on the bridge of the Enterprise....

So upon turning purple, he excused himself and dove for the bathroom......

    AAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

I think the word spells it all out....It will be al long time before anybody not in a hazmat suit can be in that restroom...

Mission Accomplished.....No wonder Feds hate Klingons so much... :D:D
