The Fek'Lhr was a Science ship / Attack Cruiser in Star Trek Armada, no carrier.
The closest thing the Klingons had was the Suq'Jagh Assault Cruiser, but carreid breaching pods instead of fighters.
Just about everything looks better than that dead metal fish.
The problem is that it is a design owned by Activision.
So it cannot be used by another company because of the licensing issues.
Besides it's not a carrier, it's a cruiser/combat support ship.:)
As for thenaming similarities:
The Klingons named the creature that guards their version of hell after
the species, then pretty much forgot about the connection and then later
named that ship after the creature.
So it's the Klingon cruiser/surrport ship Fek'lhr and the Fek'lhri carrier Kar'fi.

This a klingon ship named after the fek'ihr. The Kar´fi is a fek'ihr ship.
but it looks better!

That is one of the fugliest ship Ive ever seen. Im sorry, it looks like a manta ray or a flounder got a Vor'cha stuck up is rear end.
Its so horribily mis-proportioned...like whatever birthed it was hitting the pipe one too many times during gestation.
Thats easily the closest thing to a Klingon dumpster baby if Ive ever seen one.
Kahless would have melted that downand made it a paper weight.
That ship would have only been allowed to be constructed in a dry dock orbiting over the dark-side of the planet.
My cat TRIBBLE something that looked like that just the other night.
So thats what a 24th Century Klingon shoe-horn looks like.
WTF...is that a bus?
When that went out on its frist patrol...the Admiralty hoped it wouldnt come back.
I'll be here all weekend!
