Well, it seems season 2 has launched but in the notes for it at the known issues part i found somthing deeply concerning...I'll quote the parts im talking about.
Known Issues
Many of the following issues will be addressed in a bug fix patch as soon as we can get the fixes through.
The contact that provides Klingon Faction level 51 daily missions is missing.
Mission objectives do not advance in Bringing Down the House if the user kills Tarsens crew before entering the cargo room.
Players are not receiving the perk for finding all of the unique particles from the new anomaly scan minigame.
Shield and scaled healing rewards are not being given in PVP maps
Klingon faction players are not hearing all of the Dabo audio on the Drozana station.
Klingon episodes need additional loot rewards other than the final mission arc item.
Some of the new sectors do not properly show player location while look at the Galaxy Map
Anomalies are being given out at player level. We have a fix coming for this to allow players to get lower level anomalies even if they are above the sector level.
The ones ive highlighted in red are ones that directly affect Klingons and the one i underlined is the most worrying of them i think, it seems that even if we get to the new cap (which can easilly be done in 4 to 5 hours, as i did on tribble) we will not be able to start the daily missions for the emblems, as we need so many to actually get anything if this persists for any length of days this is going to impact us greatly, how they can release the new season with a bug this large is a mystery to me, surely it would have been better to have delayed it a few days and released it with these missions available to all?
Maybe a dev could comment on this and let us know exactly when we can expect a fix for this because as things stand there seems very little to look forward to at the new lvl cap, unless you really want the fish ship that many seem to really dislike.

As per Dstahls comment a fix is already on the way.
