    I would prefer we didnt get it...but its feels inevitable considering they gave the Feds the Galaxy-X and the cloaking Defiant...two other ships i would have prefered not be added in game. Next thing we know, some one will ask for Q powers because Riker's gift of Q powers by Q is canon...so player Q powers is canon! Yay:mad:.

    Well... User Generated Content seems to be Season 3 big thing. So players will get the power.

    Or at least they get Barclays Holodeck Programming Power.

    I am assuming the Chang BoP will be: one, an innate power like the phaser lance; two, it will do about the same damage, and buffs the lance can use and/or, if used as the opening shot, do direct hull damage before the targets shields raise; three, the BoP will be detectable for a brief second, and detectable by sensor scan like any other cloaked ship.

    However the devs work it out, I am sure It will be balance to the lance, and not OP.

    No. A lot of people are basing that on quotes in user threads about UGC, and the reply is basically, it will not be a reward without risk scenario editor. I am hoping the big surprise is a neutral war zone, and not UGC. I hate scenario editors in MMO, and feel it is the worst thing, and the cheapest thing for MMO's. Once the scenario editor is introduced, farmers and PL'ers will come out of the wood work, and usually take over the scenario editor becuase there is always a way to manipulate the system. IMO, those that are pushing for scenario editors in MMO's are: farmers, PvPers who want to rush their toon to 45(soon 51), people who never really experienced what a scenario editor can do to an MMO, or put hope before experience.

    If only there was some model or reason that all but required we all ran around with shields down. There would need to be areas where combat wasnt a given, but diplomacy/protocol required we navigate these few areas with shields down.

    No one would be expected to enter a combat zone shields down, but there might be some cases that would justify the procedure, while still leaving us open to combat.

    :mad:august huh from what i've seen a good bit of klingons r shutting down shop and looking for fun eles where.should hav tried to do ships in 2.0.or better yet just make it sto for feds.

    what we really need is for klingon ships to get lance weapons like the galaxy X, cruisers should have 1 on the vorcha and 2 on the neghvar and smaller lances on every raptor (most likely a pair of light lance weapon slots).

    it makes absolutely no sense for the galaxy X to run around with a heavy weapon and the klingons with the most military outlook of everyone in the universe have none? hahaha funny. and im still waiting for my unstable klingon photons, the ones that come high yield stock and can be overloaded to dangerous levels that may prematurely detonate or even blow up the ship launching them on occasion when you high yield them.

    i know the galaxy X cooldown is like 5 minutes, that should be more like 60 seconds to recharge its energy, and the klingons having a way to perfect heavy weapon tech ild say 10 second refire on the escorts light lances and 30 seconds on the cruisers heavies, and for god sake hurry up and add the gorn dreadnaught that has 4 lance weapon broadsides on a 15 second cooldown =p
