Element 0: By the way, there is something I've been wondering. Why do you try to keep Winning? If your prior Wins were lost or destroyed, why try again?
CAPTWinters: Plain, old human stubbornness, I guess. When something we value is lost, we try again. If it's lost again, we try again. And again, and again, and again - until it stays. That, as our poet Tennyson once said, is the goal: "To strive, to seek, to find, and To Win."

Yes, you have lost much, endured much, sacrificed greatly but you cling to the memory of your sacrifices of all the things you have lost or left behind. They drag behind you like chains of your own making. They can have a terrible power over you, Phoenix_Lord: the power of grief, and loss, and of regret. Yes, you can let go of the people, places and things, but you have let go of The Win. You will never forgive yourself for losing The Win to me!

All Wins. Every Win. We are all born as molecules in the hearts of a billion stars. Molecules that do not understand politics or policies or or sho claims to be The Winner. Over a billion years, we foolish molecules forget who we are and where we came from. In desperate acts of ego, we give ourselves names, fight over Who Wins on a thread, and pretend that our typing is better than everyone else's. The flame reminds us of the piece of those stars that lives on inside us. The spark that tells us: "You should know better." The flame also reminds us that The Win is precious as each flame is unique. When it goes out, it's gone forever. And there will never be another quite like it. So many candles will got out tonight. I wonder some days if we can see anything at all beyond My Win!

Preach it Brother Winters. Preach it to unwashed masses so that they too may learn of the glory and the power that is the WIN.

They fight bravely. They cannot harm My Win but they continue to try.

Whether they fight or not they know they will lose The WIn anyway, so really is this bravery or simple desperation?
