Referral Ship

The Feds will be getting a brand new ship for the Referral program. If we got the same love, what kind of ship would you want as our version?

My choice would be Warf's giant Negh'Var (LOL) from the mirror universe but with a Tactical Commander slot or maybe a version of Chang's B'rel that fires while cloaked. On the B'rel just give all weapons a longer global cooldown, tie weapon power and aux together and if you drain your aux power you uncloak. Keep it the same size and looks of the T1 BoP and T1 refit.

A Klingon ship that can specifically track this new cloaking fed ship. :)

How many people do you think will actually become playing customers? I dont think that many people will get 5 people who havnt tried it to sign buy the game then sign up to pay for it. I know the Klingon side didnt get much interest at all this weekend. I know some people have more money than sence may buy 5 copies and put up another $15 for each, but I dont think it will be that common.

I love the D5! Here are a few ships http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/schematics/klingon_ships.htm
One of my favorites is Goroth's ship. I think it should be the new T5-1/2 Escort.

Ya I agree, perhaps we need some more science ships.

I'll be happy with anything other than a carrier - but a nice fat cruiser would be my favourite, followed by an prototype BoP that can fire torps while cloaked.

A nice little quote from dstahl regarding a possible Klingon version of the referral ship the Galaxy-X

"We discussed this today and agree that we would like there to be Klingon versions of these rewards, but right now it is being investigated."

Whole swathes of people complain about the unfairness of the Galaxy X being used in this referal program.
    Cryptic stick to their guns.

5 Klingon players whine that there's no Klingon version of the prize.
Cryptic agrees something should be done.

Why do I even bother anymore.

This isn't the first post about the Galaxy X and the Klingon Version of it, so It's definately more then 5 Klingon Players.

So Cryptic should do something about it.

I think they should give Klingon's the same variants of ships.

We should have a Fleet Bird of Prey and an Advanced Bird of Prey
We should have a Battle Cruiser and a Exploration Battle Cruiser
We should also have a Deep Space Carrier and a Recon Carrier (Or Preferably an actual Science Ship)
We should have a Fleet Raptor and an Advanced Raptor

Federation should get a Carrier Type

So If they get a Galaxy X, then dangit, we should get something, so maybe they can give us an advanced Bird of Prey where we have universal consoles equivalent of an escort and 4 fore and 3 aft weapons.

Maybe because there is nothing unfair about the fact that it's an exclusive reward, and Cryptic agreed that they should include something on the Klingon side because the Galaxy is a Federation ship, which would leave the Klingon with nothing.

well, don't you believe they would have thought it through before releasing the news on it? i mean come on. in any business, you plan for everything you can think of. so, they should have designed something for us too. and to the poster a few posts above me--- AMEN! when in the hell are we going to get our dang ship variants!

Yes you would think that, but they didn't. Instead they listened to the players who asked for equal representation in the game and they're making an effort to fix it.

A lot of us agree it's very unfair.
From the sounds of it some people at Cryptic do too, but were overruled by the money-grubbing chairman who used to be vice-chairman in charge of SWG.

Oh but by all means continue to claim that it's fair. After all, we really need another SWG don't we.

to speak of the perceived neglect as unfair is to allow developers the out of rationalizing that nothing is fair.

however - to bring to front the point that this neglect is completely unreasonable... then developers have no option really but to be reasonable.

come on guys be reasonable here. throw us a bone.
