We beseech you kuvah'magh to share with us great stories of coming open PvP within an objective based, persistant war campaign. We tire of pointless and fruitless battles, our honor screams for purpose and glory for the Empire!
Lobby on our behalf to the heavens so that we may be blessed within the war zone with player and NPC logitics vessels to intercept within sector space as roving instances to be defended by Fed players and NPCs a like. That there be abundant star systems for us to conquer and divide amoungst our glorious Houses. That see systems and their logitics lines pour out blessings in the form of faction wide perks. That the conquering of these systems require both space and ground combat...preferably with the possibilty that it sometimes happen simulataneously. That these systems be much larger and PoIs/Objectives be much more spread out within them. That there many of systems, non-queued, all accessable at all times...eh, within strategic reason.
kuvah'magh...help us to be released from our bindings so the Federation can feel the cold steel of our bat-leths plunge deep into the heart of the holdings...but only in designated war zones mind you;)...free us so they can feel the warmth of our breath upon their neck as we twist the blade.
kuvah'magh grace us with your presence more frequently so we may bask in the firey glow of your prescence, so we can hear the words of the heavens boom down in your words...because then we know we are not forgetton, that we arent meant to be caged targs forever.
i would honestly be happy with a war zone that doesn't bug out because of new opposing teams 100% of the time. You shouldn't have to wait for a game to actually be able to fight or complete missions.

Exactly, an persistant war zone would encourage the strategic acquistion of poorly defended systems and the tactical benefit of "island hopping"(within limits), flanking/end-arounds, lightening trikes, diversionary strikes, spear heading into an eventual bulge through a weakness in a defensive line, etc, etc.
The strength of the KDF is that we are battle hardened, capable fighters who can move more freely, more likly to be unseen and swiftly amoungst an enemy that is bigger and more conventional.
Let us strave Fed holdings through the interdiction of their trade routes, let us amass coordinated KDF player battle groups that can stab into the recesses of the Federation holdings...we may be out-numbered we would be better capable of delivering an over-whelming force to a well chosen target system.
We can strike and then fade away, seemingly appear in another system, strike and fade away. We can be one force that lookes like many, we can be many forces that act as on omni-present force changing locations in the blink of an eye.
We are ready for war, out-numbered or not...we have the tools...we only require the battlefield!
I agree I think this would be the only reason any of the cancelled subs come back. If they wanted PvE they wouldve played Feds from the start. Most new Klingon PvE was sketchy from the start. PvP was fun the first few weeks. Now it is becomming a bore. If you bring what we ask for we will create our own content, the content of battle and political intrige. A true warriers dont want to hunt regergatated computer pixels and AI.

Not everyone wants to PVP some wish to PVE, also, Cryptic said if people ask for PVE content they will put it in, and regarding playing Federation from the start, you have to play till level six, and then you can create a Klingon character.

I went KDF at lvl 4...I didnt spend any more time in the stinking hide of a Fed than I had to. I was Klingon from the start...my Fed time was just a horribly dream I had to play out until i awoke on Qo'noS. I would have paid money...literally...to skip the Fed tutorial...well they call it a tutorial, i call it day-care.
KDF PvE stories would be my filler, my break from a war campaign. Dont get me wrong, I want a good KDF story to play through to add context to my experience in game, to further immerse me into the character and the Klingon experiemce in Trek. But my ultimlate purpose is the further the interests of the Empire and develope my prowess and respect on the battlefield as a competent commander in a war...not a gladiator arena queued as pointless "play dates".

The ones that are left may want to PvE perhaps. If you want to get the same TRIBBLE PvE feds have then play a Fed. Cryptic said that the Klingons were considered the PvP faction, so that fits with cannon also. If PvE is what Klingons wish to do then why isnt calls going out thru the empire for Infected and Cure groups? Most I hear are people complaining they cant find groups.
So give us PvP that is meaningfull. We will create are own content on the battle field. Now why us Klingons and Feds are happily destroying each other in glorious battle, and with some PR stating they have a new meaninfull PvP system in place you will see our brothers return. This will create time and extra money for cryptic to justify more development for PvE content. The best PvP content gets old after the first few times people do it. PvP constantly changes.

The problem with saying that pvp is canon is that it really is a play-style chosen by the individual player. Both pve and pvp can be made to fit the canon of the ip. It just depend on what the player base and the devs wants. For example, the Feds' current pve progression could be made to fit the Klingons very easily. Just change the wording here and there and it would fit, because their content is extremely combat oriented. I happen to prefer pve as I tend to enjoy the story. For me pvp is extremely boring as it tends to just be the same thing over and over with no storyline to it.
I do agree though that the current pvp content we have, has nothing that helps with Klingon player retention. An open world, persistent pvp zone with objectives to battle over would go a long way to help give the pvp more meaning.

I do agree with you, Im not saying they shouldnt put anything into making PvE content at all. I think we may disagree on what will bring the players who left back. I dont think PvE will do it. PvP will give both Klingons and the feds content.

Easy, low resource expandability...providing massive bang or the buck with respect to dev effort for player useabilty/re-playability.
PvE content is a resource pit which gets burned through much too fast. The content developed has a shorter life-span in game for the player than the time taken to build it. But with a PvP persistant war campaign, each star system, each supply link, each faction wide perk added has huge gaming endurance for all participants right now, next week, next year. Because the capture of a star a system isnt the end, its not over, its only a step along a persistant path of struggle for that system, for that sector, for the faction's interests.
PvE stories has an end of the road...or its pointless content in a bubble, un-connected, incohesive bites of randomly repeated kill 5 mobs dribble. PvE is a consumable with a slow cycle of sustainability and replacement.
Persistant PvP war campaign content is a land of milk and honey.

We might as well beseach the Easter Bunny. Until Fed players cry for meaningful PvP it won't happen.
The rest of the Emprire is, um, cloaked, yeah, that's the ticket, it's cloaked. You can see it if you squint really hard and tilt your head just so.
