Percent Stacking

How does percent stacking work in this game? Say I have Rotate Shield Frequency and Sci Team II at 46% shield resistance. How do the 50% and 46% combine?

    I believe you will see a smaller percentage increase the higher you go. It is the theory of dimished returns. I equiped a +15% energy resistance and I got something like +12.9% resist. I equipped a second, and I got +22% (which is only an addition of 9.1%). The higher your percentage goes, the less you get out of it.
