I have started to notice a disturbing trend. While playing as my fed toon today, I had a full team ready to battle some klingons to the death. But it took 30 minutes for enough klingons to join the cracked planetoid queue for this battle to start. Something has gone horribly awry.
It used to be that the Klingons outnumbered feds by enough to where it was frustrating for feds to PvP due to being outnumbered so badly. This wasnt too bad of a problem because at least there were house battles for the klinks and whenever feds did want to play they could jump in when they wanted, so it kind of worked out for all. But seeing this few klinks on is a sad, disturbing trend. Something with this patch that I cant put my finger on has thrown things off in the lower lvls of PvP (RA/BG exempted, it needs the FvF battles after what the queues were looking like pre-patch)
I have decided to start dedicating more time to my Klingon. I dont think Cryptic will be able to do enough fast enough to get more soft feds over to the klink side. He shall see more action every day, because this is an important part of the game in my opinion that I dont want to see die, therefore I shall take this into my own hands as best I can. The dynamics of FvF or KvK just arent the same as a good FvK battle.
THEREFORE A CALL IS SENT OUT... DO YOU HAVE THE HEART OF A WARRIOR?? PROVE IT BY SPENDING JUST A LITTLE MORE OF YOUR TIME AS YOUR KLINGON CHARACTER. IM TALKING GOOD OLE FASHION PVP KLINGON DESTRUCTION!!!
If you dont have a Klingon character, make one. Spend just a few minutes on it a day. Anything will help at this point.
Dude, it's cracked planetoid, that map was giving people BG-39. Do you honestly expect people to trust cryptic after a day of play. There still hasn't been a fix for the people that got zapped with the deleveling.

I did... But your right the toons that got hit with the bug didnt get fixed till this morning sometime, and since Klingons are the PvP faction it knocked alot of people out.
It's great and I hope that more players play both sides to keep the pop balanced, but since the new patch I have noticed something funny.
I rerolled my KDF toon and have noticed many newer KDF'ers now act like Feds...not teaming up, when spawning onto the map they break and run in all different directions, while many of the low level Feds seem to be doing quite well and playing with real teamwork.
Ought to be interesting to see how things shape up.
I see more Klingons leveling...I saw a lot of Klingon starter ships around. Hopefully that means more PvPers on the way.
Not necessarily. I created my first Klingon last night to try out the limited amount of new PvE stuff in anticipation of more coming later.
I have less than zero interest in PvP. You may find quite a few players looking forward to the Klingons becoming a viable PvE faction -- and it may hurt the PvP side.
But then again, maybe not. We won't know until there's some fleshed out PvE content for the Klingons, and even then, it may only be temporary as Klingon players try out the new content, then move back to PvP.

Anyhow since they added the new stuff some of us may be returning cause things like respecs are around.
