so now that my carrier is more or less useless and impractical compared to the other 3 ship classes, what would be my klingon brothers suggestion for an engineer, bop raptor or cruiser?

We'll have to wait and see how much they nerf'd the rest of our Klingon classes.

So, stay tuned, I'm sure we'll hear more as we see how bad it is now, post patch...

tac is boss, (as i suspected, hence my rolling a tac afteri heard about the changes)

APA - went from 30% self buff to 60%,
FOMM went from 12% debuff to 30%
GDF went from 9% at 100%hull to 50% at 100%

this was due to the fact tactical skills can now be buffed for the klingons, oh an APO went from a 30% buff to a 50% buff for my tac

Add the full firing cannons (and no drain for me and the setup i was using with zero changes) and Quant torps now hitting crits from 13000 to 16000 and i use HY3 the damage is insane, oh and the changes that allow ship type bonuses to carry over mean i now turn a lot faster and am a bit harder to kill, as if i needed it, i pop cloak apply debuff fire and have to wait 14 or 15s to cloak again after killing the poor feddie. dam if i could only get a copy of target shields 3, not that it makes much odds now, the burst is so high the bleed will get most ships before the rsp expires.

Will have to respec the sci at some point and have a go to see how the changes effect it, but meh it can wait

What is your setup if you're not having any drain?? My drain was horrific on Tribble (3 DHC + 4 turrets) TIA

I ditched my rear turrets - they aren't worth the drain, and the increased damage on cannons makes them superfluous.

As it should have been from the start.

no one is answering the man's question...

If ur an engineer, it depends then mostly on ur playing style.

If ur aggresive, take the BoP and take out Fed Escorts in one swoop.

If u like the support role, take the Neg'Var, although u can also make the Neg'Var a heavy BoP with dc/dhc and two RCS modules.

Post-patch, the BoP seems to win battles, while the Neg'Var wins the war, good combo ^^

That kinda sucks since I was really wanting to try out a carrier. They sound really unique.

Maybe as an alt ship perhaps...
