As soon as I am able to make a Klingon char, I will be one. I hope many of you stay Klingon. Look, we all know Fed is where the majority of players will be, Klingon's like the horde at the start of WoW, most people were alliance.
Don't give up on the empire or Klingon race, keep playing and keep asking for more!
nice gesture zerubbabel, but getting united will not solve the lack of interest the developers have shown thus far in "our side".
It would be ok if they had said from the start; this is it, deal with it, Klingon's are just a PvP race, no substance at all what so ever. Expectation maganagement is where developers are struggling with as it seems.
I applaud their attempt like with the engineering reports to be more transparant, but they are just simply too slow to keep up with our high, on-demand player base, also on Fed side. Don't forget, STO was build as a single-player game it feels, and when reaching RA5 on Fed side, the "giant big universe" suddenly is closed for business.
Again, expectation management. They lack the resources/foresight to have seen this coming, or were unwilling to resolve the matter, anyway, the STO base will have to rely on slow progressing players to keep ther subscriptions running, all heavy-duty gamers already did it all and get little satisfaction besides some new missions that seem clones of each other, no real inovative work. They even expect us to do it every day repeatedly for slighty better equipement, yeah right, as if I am gonna invest that much time in a slightly better shielding, designed against Borgs for repatative missions that get boring real fast.
Ever heared of STOgold, for 10 bucks I can buy such a shield/weapon and saving myself the time(dozens of hours). I do not condone selling energy credits, but developers seem to play in their cards with this type of "reward-time consumption" trade off.
Hail the future developers that can keep up with changing markets and get that we are an on-demand generation with serious money, it's not like we are not willing to pay premium for our whishes, they just don't seem to realize it.
Have a BG5 also, played since first day of open Beta . Don't much care about more PVE comtent, would be for some folks. Open PVP choice with new maps would be awsome along with new ship models would go a long ways. Right now , omly enjoy the FvK 5 v 5 .

I agree. Cryptic did say we were primarily a PvP faction till they could get some development time on PvE. But I personally be happier if they would put those resources into a PvP area that was meaningfull. If we could take and hold bases and planets the players would create the content themselves.
if we do unite the empire i say we all go under the BoK banned Razor Fleet , or that house of du? grrr can't remember the name.....Anyway those three fleets seem to be the biggest and would be easyer if we were all under one banner.
On the pvp note the new ground map is pretty good , plus the way you Q up is better , you get a map randomly its not great but its better.
A good idea could be a set of missions to bring Klingons and Feds nearer (again) and reforge the alliance between them.
So that Klingon Players could enter Fed Space and do Fed Missions.
Oh, btw: there should be a choice which house you want to support:
The House of Duras -> enemy to federation but friendly to romulans or
The House of Martok -> friendly to federation but enemy to romulans.
What's also a possibility is that the House of Martok (and allies) joins the federation as is said in Star Trek Enterprise S03E18 (Azati Prime).
if cryptic improved PVP for Feds and Klingons and mean more than improving Fed Que times, maybe some of the Closed Beta players would come back and ones that still play would play more often. Mainly I mean space PVP cause you cant afford to waste skill points in ground combat and be as efficient in space combat and vice versa., but its yer 15 bucks play as you wish. What Stingray mentioned is True, Klinkons are PVP, so Klingons unite ask for more universal PVP since thats what Cryptic has said we are.
I just posted a fairly long set of ideas over here in General Gameplay which included several potential persistent PvP ideas. Constructive feedback welcome as I am no STO PvP expert (and to be clear, the aim of the thread is to come up with proposals for a better endgame situation than daily exploration & raids).

Long live the empire! (on dvd and syndication)
