Vendor Lt Vacno STILL not selling correct items.

The vendor Lt Vacno on Galanda station says in the description she sells Mk VIII and Mk X Starship Equipment; Engines, Shields and Defectors.
She has the Mk VIII Equipment, but instead of Mk X Equip, she has Mk X consoles, the same ones another vendor in the same room has. She is the ONLY source of Mk X equipment for the PvP Medals.
Unless of course, you can afford the outragous prices in the Exchange.

This was once listed as "under investigation" on the Dev bug reports, but even as of the March 18th update on the Tribble test server this is STILL not fixed, even though it was reported as far back as the BETA version, and it is no longer listed in any of the Dev/enginnering/bug reports at all, in any category!

If the Developers intend for the Klingons to be a 95% PvP "faction" then we need to be able to access the PvP rewards, it is only fair, don't ya think?

I strongly encourage ALL Klingons to report this bug using the in game reporting system, since obviously the Developers will not fix it unless they feel enough players have noticed to it warrent a fix.

    It's getting frustrating beyond belief but I keep telling myself that this is a ground floor game and be patient but it would be nice to pvp against the fed with equal opportunity.

    It will be interesting when fed space pvpers realize that most klingons they have been fighting have had subpar equipment. They will not be happy to learn our tier 5 players will soon upgrade our engines and shields...

    I know this has been seen by the devs, hopefully it won't fall through the cracks. Venders can't be that tough of a fix...

    One would think.

    Also the bridge officer vender at the station is broken as well.

    This has been escalated. If you run into these things file a bug report and post in the game bugs area with your bug report number.

    I did post this in the game bugs area, once a while ago and again recently.
    I have also filed 2 seperate bug reports using the in game system, and 3rd bug report via the Tribble test server.
    I posted it here also to hopefully encourage others to file similiar bug reports to maybe get the developer's attention so it can be fixed since it's been known about since the Beta.
    That explains the last line in my post. ;)

    And how exactly do you retrieve your bug report ticket number? It flashes across the screen and in text chat, but when I go back to the reports I can't seem to locate it.

    My klingon is using the MK X shield crafted by my fed... probably thats what crafting is meant for. :p

    I got tired of waiting for the pvp vendor to get fixed and just ground out however many Empire Defense missions it took to get geared up. it was one of the least fun experiences I've had in this game, and really burned me out. it's probably a big part of the reason why I cancelled my account renewal. it really tainted what had been up to that point a very grind-free game.

    also, in addition to the problem of not having any Mk X shields, engines or deflectors at all, this vendor will only take T3 pvp medals for the Mk VIII (T4) shields. this is all well and good if you happened to enter T4 with a big surplus of T3 medals, but if you didn't there is no way to get your blue T4 ship shield. you can't even pve for it because the pve vendor in Qonos will also only take T3 pve badges for the Mk VIII shields (and once you hit T4 there's no way to get any more T3 badges -- those pve missions become unavailable).

    this means that from level 31 through 40, klingon players have to either use white ship shields, or buy shields on the exchange from fed players who have access to better gear. at 41, klingons must either finish the Empire Defense mission 4 times (which is 12 rounds of mind-numbing soul-destroying npc-killing) BECAUSE DOING IT 3 TIMES LEAVES YOU EXACTLY 1 BADGE SHORT OF BEING ABLE TO BUY YOUR MK X SHIELD, or just go without a good shield until they hit 45 and have accumulated enough marks of honor to buy a purple one.

    and if you fly more than one ship in T5, and don't want to have to keep swapping your good gear back and forth between them, you have to do all this multiple times.

    so, let's review. when a klingon reaches T5, they need 156 marks of honor to buy a purple ship shield, deflector dish and impulse engine. that's 32 days of dailies (same as feds, no problem there except that feds feds only need 16 days if they do their pve dailies as well, which klingons can't do). if they don't want to be stuck using whites all that time or want to be able to use those marks for other things like ground gear or ship weapons, they will need 678 badges of exploration, which requires completion of the Empire Defense mission 10 times (which requires 30 rounds of killing Cardassion or Borg npc's). or they can buy the gear from feds (usually at a steep markup on the exchange). klingons have NO OTHER OPTION.
