Is anybody else noticing that Cruisers and Negh'Varks are "drifting" like sports cars?
I remember seeeing this type of turning in beta and i'm glad it was fixed.
But it appears to be back again.
Anybody else noticing this?

Try flying a carrier and turning just after you've toggled off full impulse you can powerslide about 15k

Its called inertia. Klingon cruisers turn very well for their inertia, so it is easily apparent on them, especially if you use turn rate consoles.

fed cruisers do it too... dont feel too bad, i tihnk its kinda cool... i know its space and all, but in reality, any navy vessel that is going all ahead motherf$*#$$% then tries to stop or turn hard is gonna drift like crazy...

Oddly, if you are at full impulse and you slide the bar to zero *before* clicking the full impulse off, you can actually stop with no intertia at all, even in a carrier. The game only seems to calculate drift when you click the button at the top of the slider.
