Nature of Upcoming KDF PVE?

What I want to know (if this has been stated or not) is my having a higher level KDF toon blow my chances of going through sparkly new content for the Klinks when released?

Basically I have my Klink toon (Cmdr) but am seriously toying with rerolling simply because I understand the game better now. What I am afraid of is that they'll release the new content which will be worthless to me because I have outleveled it.

Just wondering of anyone knew...

Thanks.

From what I've read about the 45-day update on the Tribble (test server) thread "sparkly new" isn't exactly what we're getting. More like Federation retreaded defense/patrol missions than themed story line. I may be totally off-base, but that's my impression.

Getting Joined Trill, which add skills/experience, now THAT is a reason to re-roll.

Just so I understand properly, (putting it in a pattern I can comprehend) you are saying the Klingon quests will be like the Horde quests in WoW? (that's if you have played it) re worded alliance quests for the horde faction (go to Feralas and kill xx of yetis) both factions kill the same NPC's.

Was hoping the Klingons got there own missions to tell their story regarding the war, alliances etcetera, hope they do otherwise the replay value of the game just would not be there, I'm finding it hard to level another Federation character as it is, would be worse if I have to do Federation quests as a Klingon.

Sorry, never player WoW. What I'm saying is that the new Klingon missions will be the Federation patrol/defend missions retreaded so that K can play them.

We are getting the exact same kind of exploration missions as fed, with some names changed to protect the innocent. For example, instead of the "scan the satellite debris" mission, we get "destroy the satellite debris to erase the evidence". Most of the missions are pretty similar to their fed counterparts, which is a good thing, it provides variety. For instance, I responded to the distress call of a Klingon freighter, only to find it had been boarded by the Jem'Hadar. Fun stuff :D

We still get the kahless expanse style missions, too.

Go here and read about it:

    http://forums.startrekonline.com/showthread.php?t=134008

    Gorn Minefield (Fed and Klg)
Breaking the Planet (Fed and Klg)
    Crystalline Entity (Fed and Klg)
    Romulan Temple (Fed and Klg)
    Klingon Star Cluster PVE Exploration
iPvP Objective Maps (whatever that is)

The ONLY thing that appears to be Klingon only are the Star Clusters. I doubt the Klingons will get Exploration becaue that adds a new medal type, new vendors and maybe new equipment. I think those will be defend/attack/patrol.

OK, I'm understanding all this and thank you, just waiting now for them to implement it as I would like a Klingon, so hurry 45 Days or however many are left.

Don't forget the Crystaline Entity . So make sure you save up your medals, so you can equip your Klingon vessels with beams. It'll be about the only thing Beams on a Klingon vessel are good for.

The star clusters give exploration medals (remember we already got them for kahless expanse type missions

So far I've seen a mission attacking an outpost, defending a colony from feds, and destroying fed ships, they're suitably klingon style: I remember after taking out 4 sets of mobs on the outpost attack a popup from one of my away team members saying "Let them send armies! We shall stand like Kahless on three turn bridge!"

Got it, thanks for the info guys.

I was hoping there might be a little bit more to it than that...

Seems like a good steo in the right direction to me. Add storyline questing and Klingons have almost caught up to the Federation.
