Idea: Borg adaptive resistances

Given how fond the borg were of adapting to everything you throw at them. it would be kind of cool, at least for ground based combat where you can switch weapons easily, to have the borg slowly increase resistance to a particular damage type used against it and decrease a different one so that you keep having to mix things up? It would need to either adapt quickly or you would need to have some way of applying a sort of "shared resistance" to everything in the zone. A cumulative zone wide effect would probably work best.
