Doomsday Device Felt Like TOS

I did Doomsday Device with my wife last night. It's was probably the best mission I've ever played in any MMO. Afterwards I watched the real TOS episode and all I can say is it felt EXACTLY like the episode. It was as if I was watching the view screen from the TOS movie.

For those not familiar with TOS episodes, here is what I'm talking about:

It was our first time doing this and we weren't sure how to approach it. I watched my wife's cruiser stare down that beast, take heavy damage in it's first blast, and veer off. It took us two more passes, both taking damage. Finally, she went straight in, firing her last salvo. I watched her monitor and it looked amazing. Finally, the device explodes in a ball of flame, taking my wife's ship with it. Luckily I beamed her aboard my vessel before it went down in a blaze of glory. :)

    Yeah that is a great mission, but not my favourite, I really liked the one where you link up with the Enterprise and spock thanks you for your help, I'm not even a TOS fan but that is currently my favourite mission. Always loved the continuum episodes. :D

    I loved the one with helping the TOS Enterprise as well. I took a screenshot of the scene near the end of that mission.

    The D7's were weak, I certainly didn't NEED the Enterprises help, but getting it was still pretty neat :p

    That was a great mission/episode. Try the special torps next time. A little easier and you don't have to use the line "Gentleman I suggest you beam me aboard."

    Loved that episode on TOS too.

    Yes, I just played this one yesterday. Great stuff.

    Also did the time travel mission with the Guardian of Forever. The best use of Nimoy's voiceover so far. Content like this is why I and many die-hard Trekkers are here. :)

    However, I do have one nit to pick with that mission. I had to see the old girl up close, and this is what I saw:

    That's been bug reported like crazy, and we never hear anything on it.
