BUGGED:Defend the Psi Velorum Sector Block

Hi all,
Unless i've gone blind and/or stupid, I can't seem to find any threads on this yet.

A little bit of a pain when you take a mission that you NEED to do in order to advance to the next 'episode', and you find that all Romulan enemy contacts have no coundown timer inside, no ships apart from the Flagship fleet and no way to reset the instance.

It gets even better when you find a Mirror Federation contact in Psi Velorum, but they happen to be +14 to your lvl and ream you faster than a spell in jail.

Is anyone else finding these missions bugged, or is it just my usual luck? :D

And I have bugrepped it...just wanted to vent and see if anyone else has suffered this annoying issue.

    No, you're not alone. I've been working on this for 2 days now. It's been reported. And every time I'm in the sector block, I hear more people asking about this problem, either having the problem or asking if it's been solved yet.

    Yep same as well im Commander 3 bar atm and i HAVE finished all the quests that there is so ALL that is open for me is this in order to advance.

    Actually IM VERY angry about it because its either go down the list which i think is 135 SP whish is 3 missions to get the 400 odd that 1 mission would give you in Psi.

    This bug has been on Psi since OB THATS 2 Weeks and now were into the 1st week of going Live and still NO fix.

    So i either go back and do the 3 Missions to get equalilivant or Stop playing till its fixed.

    Wondering were the prioritys lie atm with Cryptic.

    about 2 hours ago i looted rare dual polaron cannon from bop in sirius sector block near risa ;) group of 3 lv 45 bop was hiding among lv9 ships

    this mission is doable. You need to go far to the east, in the last sector of the block. The enemy encounters there are of the correct type for this mission.

    Got the same problems. Encounters on the left side won't start and those on the right side are for a rather high level.

    Already bugged it.

    I got this problem as well. Glad its not just me making a mistake. Its rather annoying, but I thought I would atleast give it a go and see if the mission completes. On the first pack I pull agro and go boom with torps hitting me for 15k + :eek:

    And the Romulan ones dont want to start either :(

    Where are the devs on this? I've seen there are a few different post threads on the matter. As far as I can tell, this may be the most significant bug in the game since release (that I've run into anyway). I'm dismayed that this problem has lasted more than a couple of days without a fix!

    I've got around it by doing the Patrol missions instead...each part of the mission grants points, and maybe more than 3 instances of 'Defend' type missions. Now got Iona Pavonis 'Defend' missions, which seem to be unbugged thus far :D

    This issue was brought up during beta and was never fixed. The romulan encounters do not work in psi velorum. To complete that mission though you can fight hirogen in the area which are smaller ships roaming the sector farther in.

    Also post bug issues in the Bug part of the forums.. you may find better answers that way :)
