Let's assume things are well after the 30day trials are up......Crossing fingers
Top 5 additions you would like to see (10 if your in the mood)
1.) Balanced PVP (i know its never balanced but something close)
2.) Better ground combat and less laggy ofcourse
3.) A better crafting system
4.) More missions so that i don't have to rely on repeatable content
5.) More FLEET missions
There. Thats it. I could have written that over and over again ten times but that would have been redundant.
I've yet to see this queue. Wonder if us lifetimer's get direct access.
Personally, I'd like to see a MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUUUUCCCCCHHHHH better description of how skills and such work. The whole talent tree is a complete joke.
Holodecks will undoubtedly be an expansion (If you're not sure why, go look up City of Heroes: Architect).

This I agree with skill system sucks TRIBBLE its actually the worst part of the game right now, no idea what im doin there half the time
1. Better developed PvE fir Klingons
2 mini skirts
3. Redo skill tree
4. Redo BO officer skills
5. More cause effect and grey area decisions that affect ones missions later on.
6. Better social
7. Captains quaterz
8. List of medium term and doable long term specific goals
9. Promissary backing by Atari for dev STO for 2 years and not drop it to divert all resources for Marvel Online.
10. Skimpy outfits for my FF breasted female federation officers
11. Include Captain Picard day!!! Both ingame and forum community (artwork/poetry contests and succh)

Oh I pray thats not the case. If that gets found out? Guess what happens? Lifetime subs is all the money this game will ever make. Period. There ya go.
Im not paying $15 a month anymore if some players get preferential treatment because they chose to pay for the game in a different way. You got lifetime access, you got a liberated borg toon, and you got two extra character slots.
If its the case that lifetimers also dont have to wait in que, while the rest of us still paying money do, I see little reason to keep paying more money.
1 - Being able to beam down to planets and do quests just like typical MMOs.
2 - Music in the stations please... The silence is killing me
3 - Better crafting system
1 - Being able to beam down to planets and do quests just like typical MMOs.
2 - Music in the stations please... The silence is killing me
3 - Better crafting system
1. I can already beam down to planets and do missions. And if you want to play a typical MMO, there are many to choose from, all basically copies of each other.
2. Turn on your iPod. Done.
3. Crafting sucks. Less crafting = more better. And if you go play one of those typical MMOs, you'll find crafting waiting for you.
I'd like to see the skills tree completely revised due to the skill cap.
1) Some way to respec in-game
2) Additional character slots, there are 3 classes and 2 factions, adding "realms/worlds" that we could choose from would also suffice as I can make one Fed based, and one Kling based.
3) Respecing option for in-game currency only!!
4) Holo deck would be nice
5) Better turn rates for cruisers
6) ???
7) PROFIT

No we do have to queue, I've been in it at least twice since launch.
I think the queue might be bugged though. Some people have been stuck in roughly the same position for hours, others move back and just occasionally some people have left the queue and logged back in and have been taken straight in.
Today I got the account server problem message, so never got to the queue for an hour and a half. Then it let me in and kicked me out after a minute and stuck me with the error again.

Are you always aggressive towards people with an opinion different than yours? I would gladly explain my thinking behind every one of my "top 3 wishes", if you so desire.
1. Ability to pilot your vessel from the bridge in sector space.
2. Refined Exchange with options to select the less expensive as well as price ranges.
3. Working death penalty that is not extreme but actually rewards those who do not blow up their ship for fun.
4. Balance for NON-Escorts in fleet actions (I'm an escort at lvl 11 and come in top 3 every fleet action) not fair to my science and cruiser captains.
5. Dynamic PvP. With stations, asteroid bases, moons, planets, sectors etc able to be captured.
Missions involving diplomacy and new sound/visual effects for phaser cannons. Here's a video from Deep Space 9 that features the Defiant firing its cannons. It lets loose with them at about the 50 second point.
1. More missions in the style of City on the Edge of Never. Just awesome, epic missions.
2. More ships, in all the classes.
3. Ship interiors.
4. A death penalty. All they need to do is make it so we have to replenish our crew at space stations for energy credits, and I think that's just fine.
5. More uniforms and customization options. You can never have too many.
6. A holodeck on your ship. Maybe even missions involving the holodeck. The possibilities are endless.
7. Romulans as a playable faction. This isn't really for me, but it's something I know my boyfriend really wants. And more factions are better in general, IMO.
8. The ability to "intercept" when in the PvP sector. You intercept a Klingon ship (or they intercept you) and a box pops up with "Captain, the Klingons are challenging us! Do you want to accept?" That way you can choose if you want to fight or not, to avoid higher level players ganking lower ones.
9. Social events. Many MMOs have seasonal "festivals," with quests and social stuff and cosmetic items or what have you. There could be a Federation Officer's Ball. The Klingons could celebrate... some Klingon holiday I'm sure they have...
10. Just... more. More of everything. More missions, bigger map, more weapons, just... more.
I like the game and the one thing I'd like to see more of is bizare given that I started off hateing ground missions,
More ground missions like Broken planet.
I wasted time on this from open beta right thru to a few days ago where I seen someone say they had finaly fixed it.
I jump in with a bigish group mabye 20 or so players and it was alot of fun, I had no idea what to do other than grab explosives and do the first part but it wasnt a hard mission no puzzels or anything strange, just alot of shooting and everyone putting up turrets and shields.
The option to turn off the ring that appears around our ship in combat.
The option to turn off the grids, lanes and system anchor-posts in sector maps to see a more raw version of the absolutely gorgeous sector space-art they produced. Border signs could stay, but otherwise I would really like to be able to view the stars and systems without all the astrometrics artwork.
Some sort of warp effect in sector space that conveys a sense of fast travel. It's a bit disconcerting when full impulse in system space "feels" faster than warp speed in sector space.
More ground missions and on larger maps. Permanent settlements where we could visit and deal with any number of more advanced missions to various locales across the surface of the planet. Perhaps by using shuttlecraft and monorail "trolley style" methods of surface location to location travel. Earth and Star Fleet Academy would be a prime candidate for this sort of treatment, as would many of the other iconic planets of the intellectual property.
A fully developed, 3 season Klingon mission PvE game to match the depth of the Federation game and planetary control PvP meta-game between the two factions along the border sectors of the neutral zone.
Also it's kind of ridiculous that every new planet found by the Federation has already been found by either the Orions who have set up an illegal dilithium mining operation or by the Gorn who have found remnants of an ancient reptilian civilization.
1. More exploration missions and more variety. quest on non class m planets. using space suits. or on abandon ships or borg cubes.
2. More ships interiors. Quests where you need to see the doc for facial prosthetics to be disguised. Maybe to observe prewarp races. This kinda fits with #1.....Holo decks. images on view screen of bridge that matches where you are. Doesn't have to be live..........yet
3. More factions. Maybe some kind of reputation grind through diplomacy. Trying to get races to join the federation.
4. A death penalty. I really don't know what kind. Just needs to be one.
5. More uniforms and other cloths casual attire. Race specific also. Such as Ferengi casual wear.
6. Social holiday events and special quests during these events.
7. The ability to toggle sector space grids on and off
8. More variety to the sectors scenery. I've seen the same exact cloud formation in space in ten different systems now.
9. Expanded crafting - maybe class specific recipes - not sure if this is already implemented.
10. Ability to log out into character screen, The ability to view quests in your log and have them include the quest rewards,
11. Expansion on social hubs ...Risa.Vulcan.ect
Comments
2. More interesting exploration missions, with more variety.
3. More refined crafting system.
4. More refined exchange system.
5. A 'holodeck' system as described in this thread:
http://forums.startrekonline.com/showthread.php?t=100509
6. More in-ship missions (or really, ANY in-ship missions).
7. Open-ended or multi-ending quests.
8. Profession-specific or skill-specific quest options and choices.
9. Endgame content.
10. Options for groups larger than 5 people.
It does everything including the option to have mission.
I don't need 2 to 10
1.) Balanced PVP (i know its never balanced but something close)
2.) Better ground combat and less laggy ofcourse
3.) A better crafting system
4.) More missions so that i don't have to rely on repeatable content
5.) More FLEET missions
More server capacity.
There. Thats it. I could have written that over and over again ten times but that would have been redundant.
My one biggest issue is the skill system hope they fix that soon

Being able to sit down in your captain's chair.
Being able to walk around in your own ship... visit everything of it, not just parts, with a whole crew(yes, hundreds).
What's the use having a ship with a holodeck if you can't use it?
Autofiring done right.
More things available in the C-store.
Be able to board ships.
Less window pop-ups.
Unique ship names.
Less crashes.
Server(s) able to handle all players that connect to it.
Are you always aggressive towards people with an opinion different than yours? I would gladly explain my thinking behind every one of my "top 3 wishes", if you so desire.
Just please try to respect other players, thanks.

This is how they should look and sound. You're firing flaming balls of nadion death, not spitballs.
